''The Album of the Soundtrack of the Trailer of the Film of Monty Python and the Holy Grail'' is the first film soundtrack album by Monty Python, released in 1975. It features selected scenes from '' Monty Python and the Holy Grail'' interspersed with a large volume of new studio material, much of which centers on a spoof screening of the film at the Classic Silbury Hill Theatre. Also among the new items is the "Marilyn Monroe" sketch, which Graham Chapman co-wrote with Douglas Adams - the pair having recently collaborated on the fourth series of '' Monty Python''. The album is billed as the 'Executive Version' as a joke on popular 'special editions"' of albums that contained extra tracks unavailable on earlier versions. Naturally, no other version of this album existed when it was originally released. Graham Chapman
Graham Chapman (8 January 1941 – 4 October 1989) was a British actor, comedian and writer. He was one of the six members of the surreal comedy group Monty Python. He portrayed authority figures such as The Colonel and the lead role in two Python films, ''Holy Grail'' (1975) and ''Life of Brian'' (1979). Chapman was born in Leicester and was raised in Melton Mowbray. He enjoyed science, acting and comedy and, after graduating from Emmanuel College, Cambridge and St Bartholomew's Hospital Medical College, he turned down a career as a doctor to be a comedian instead. Chapman eventually established a writing partnership with John Cleese, which reached its critical peak with Monty Python during the 1970s. Neil James Innes (; 9 December 1944 – 29 December 2019) was an English writer, comedian and musician. He first came to prominence in the pioneering comedy rock group Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band and later became a frequent collaborator with the Monty Python troupe on their BBC television series and films, and is often called the "seventh Python" along with performer Carol Cleveland. George Peckham
George "Porky" Peckham (born 1942, Blackburn, Lancashire) is an English record engineer, widely recognised as among the most accomplished in the business. He has been responsible for producing the master discs from which many vinyl records have been pressed over the last 40 years. His master discs, and the records that were produced from them, often bear either the motto "A Porky Prime Cut" or a cryptic or a humorous comment, etched onto the run-out grooves in his handwriting. Other inscriptions attributed to him include "Pecko" and "Pecko Duck".
