''The Act in Question'' ( es, El Acto en cuestión) is a 1994 Argentine film directed and written by Alejandro Agresti. The film starred Carlos Roffé and Sergio Poves Campos. The film was also released in the Netherlands and Portugal. It was screened in the Un Certain Regard section at the 1993 Cannes Film Festival. This movie was partly recorded in a castle in Oostakker near Ghent in Belgium (1992). The family "De Bruyn" who owned the castle, played as observers in the movie. Alejandro Agresti (born June 2, 1961, in Buenos Aires) is an Argentine film director, writer and producer. A prominent filmmaker in his country, he also directed ''The Lake House (film), The Lake House'' with Hollywood, Los Angeles, Hollywood actors Sandra Bullock and Keanu Reeves in 2006. Career Agresti is best known in the United States for his feature ''Valentín'', the story of a young boy who dreams of becoming an astronaut while attempting to better the bewildering world around him. Lorenzo Quinteros (14 June 1945 – 23 April 2019) was an Argentine cinema and theatre actor. Born in Córdoba Province, Quinteros has appeared in many films since his debut in '' Alianza para el progreso'' in 1971.
