Adam Freeland
Adam Freeland (born 7 August 1973) is an English record producer and DJ. He is also the owner and creative director of the record label Marine Parade, which has released material by artists including Evil Nine, ILS, Alex Metric and Jape. Born in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire, England, he first began DJing in 1991, originally mixing deep house and later drum and bass. After becoming an in-demand DJ around Britain, he released his first mix album ''Coastal Breaks'' (1996) and formed the electronic music duo Tsunami One with Kevin Beber. From 1999 to 2001, Freeland hosted a show on Friday night on London's Kiss 100 FM. In 2000, he released his debut studio album, ''Now & Them''. Freeland is also one third of the Acid. Infectious Music is an independent record label owned by BMG, whose bands have included Alt-J, Ash and The Subways. History Infectious Music was established in 1993 as Infectious Records by former Zerra One drummer Korda Marshall after leaving Bertelsmann (BMG-Ariola, the original major label BMG company), where he was the A&R manager of RCA Records and was involved with the running of Dave Stewart's AnXious label. Jens Kuross is an American singer-songwriter and musician based in Idaho. He is an active member of The Acid and has previously performed as a member of Howling and RY X. Personal life Jens was born in Seattle, Washington, but moved to Ketchum, Idaho with his family a few years later. Jens began his career as a professional musician at the age of 15 when he began drumming for a jazz trio at a local hotel lounge/bar named the Duchin room (named after the wife of American pianist and bandleader Eddie Duchin). He would hold this gig down for the rest of his teens, playing and studying under the watchful eye of the gig's bassist, Jeff Rew, a former session player from San Diego who had spent time on the road with both Elvis Presley and the Buddy Rich big band.
