Robert Boyd (born October 17, 1970), known professionally as Dice, is an American rapper from Detroit, Michigan. Biography Dice began his career in 1992, signing with World One Records, who released his debut album, '' The 40 Made Me Do It'' through Raw Dogg Records. After touring with Ultramagnetic MCs, Ice Cube and Da Lench Mob, In 1993 Dice began his association with Reel Life Productions, Spring of 1993 Esham came to Dice's mother home to come meet with Dice for possible signing on his independent label which was the biggest selling independent record label out of the midwest, he did not sign a contract with the label. Following appearances on Esham's Closed Casket, Natas' '' Doubelievengod'' , Mastamind's EP ''Lickkuidrano'', and later on Esham's Dead Flowerz . The Ultramagnetic MCs is an American Hip hop music, hip hop group based in The Bronx, New York City. Founded by Kool Keith, the group also includes Ced Gee, TR Love, and Moe Love. Tim Dog became an unofficial member in 1989. In 1990, DJ Jaycee was added as a road manager and backup DJ. Big.D was put down with the crew by Kool Keith in 1989. A former member, Rooney Roon, was fired following an assault arrest. Beat-boxer Rahzel was also involved with the group early in its career. Da Lench Mob was an American hip hop group from Los Angeles, California, associated with Ice Cube. The group consisted of rappers Shorty, T-Bone, J-Dee, Maulkie, and Ice Cube. Their Islamic religious and social politically inspired-lyrics garnered much attention. History The group made its debut on Ice Cube's first solo album, ''AmeriKKKa's Most Wanted''. Reel Life Productions, also known as Gothom Records, is an independent record label based in Detroit, Michigan most associated with the hip hop subgenre horrorcore. The label was founded in 1989 by James H. Smith and his younger brother, rapper Esham. Since its formation, RLP had released much of Esham's discography, and had been home to a number of other artists, including Natas, Dice, Mastamind, T-N-T, Kool Keith and The Dayton Family.
