''The 3rd Round'' () is Taiwanese Mandopop artist Tank's third Mandarin studio album. It was released on 29 May 2009 by HIM International Music. A second edition ''The 3rd Round (Deluxe Edition)'' (第三回合 精裝版) was released on 29 May 2009 with a bonus DVD with two music videos and behind-the-scene footage. The album features an insert song, "全世界都停電" (Power Out All Over The World) of 2009 Taiwanese drama ''ToGetHer'', starring Jiro Wang of Fahrenheit, Rainie Yang and George Hu. The DVD features the music video of opening theme song, "鬥牛要不要" (Do You Want a Bull-Fight) of 2007 Taiwanese drama ''Bull Fighting'', starring Mike He, Hebe Tien, and Lee Wei. Tank (Taiwanese Singer)
Lü Jianzhong 呂建中 (born 6 February 1982), better known by his stage name Tank, is a Taiwanese singer-songwriter. He is currently signed to HIM International Music. His debut album, ''Fighting'' (; ''Fighting, The Law of Surviving'') was released on 23 February 2006. His latest album, ''The 3rd Round'', was released on 31 May 2009. Biography Lü was born in Taitung, Taiwan. He is a native Taiwanese: his father is from the Ami people, while his mother is Puyuma. Tank married his girlfriend of two years, MerMer, on 28 September 2012. The wedding was originally planned for the end of 2011 but was postponed due to the unexpected arrival of their daughter, Hua Hua, who was born in May 2012. Rainie Yang Cheng Lin (; born 4 June 1984) is a Taiwanese singer, actress, and television host. Early life Yang was born and raised in Taipei, Taiwan, her father's ancestors were from Guangdong, China. She spoke Cantonese at home. By the time she was 13, she had to start working because her father's business failed, which led to her parents being divorced. She attended Hwa Kang Arts School which specialized in performance arts. Career Yang began her career in 2000 as a member of Taiwanese girl group 4 in Love, where she was given the stage name Rainie. The group's popularity in the musical industry achieved limited success. Hebe Tien (; born 30 March 1983) is a Taiwanese singer and actress. She rose to fame in the early 2000s as a member of Taiwanese girl group S.H.E. The release of her debut album, '' To Hebe'' (2010), established her as a solo artist. Mandopop
Mandopop or Mandapop refers to Standard Chinese, Mandarin popular music. The genre has its origin in the jazz-influenced popular music of 1930s Shanghai known as Shidaiqu; with later influences coming from Japanese enka, Hong Kong's Cantopop, Taiwan's Hokkien pop, and in particular the School campus song, Campus Song folk movement of the 1970s. 'Mandopop' may be used as a general term to describe popular songs performed in Mandarin. Jiro Wang (; born 24 August 1981) is a Taiwanese singer and actor, who started his career as a model. Wang is a member of Taiwanese Mandopop vocal quartet boy band Fahrenheit. Life Jiro Wang was born August 24, 1981, in Taiwan. He graduated from Fu Shin Trade and Arts College with a degree in Advertising Design. Wang's father died when he was 18, leaving him and his mother stranded with the family debt. It was produced by Comic International Productions ( 可米國際影視事業股份有限公司) and directed by Linzi Ping (林子平). It started filming on 4 June 2008 and wrapped in mid-September 2008. It was first broadcast in Taiwan on free-to-air China Television (CTV) (中視) from 15 February to 3 May 2009, every Sunday at 22:00 to 23:30 and cable TV Gala Television (GTV) Variety Show/CH 28 (八大綜合台) on 21 February to 9 May 2009, every Saturday at 21:00 to 22:30.
