The 1900 Island
''The 1900 Island'' is a Welsh television series produced by Wildflame Productions, made for BBC Wales and first broadcast on BBC One Wales, with a subsequent UK wide broadcast on BBC Two from 10 June 2019. The series was filmed on the island of Llanddwyn, Anglesey, Wales, recreating the life of a fishing village at the turn of the 20th-century. Plot The series follows four 21st century families who are placed in a recreation of a 1900 Welsh fishing village. The families live in a row of original pilots' cottages on Llanddwyn, taking on the traditional male and female roles and using the original facilities and technology of the times. The men go out to sea to catch fish (when weather permits) while the women stay on the island to look after the children and manage their homes. BBC Wales

Wirral Peninsula
Wirral (; ), known locally as The Wirral, is a peninsula in North West England. The roughly rectangular peninsula is about long and wide and is bounded by the River Dee to the west (forming the boundary with Wales), the River Mersey to the east, and the Irish Sea to the north. ''Coal House'' is a Welsh television series made by Indus Films for BBC Wales, and broadcast on BBC One Wales, with a subsequent UK wide repeat of both series on BBC Four. Series 1 was set in the depressed economic coalfields of 1927, while Series 2 was set in 1944 as World War II draws to a close. Series 2 was broadcast on BBC across the UK from October 2009 Plot The series follows three or more families who are placed in a location which replicates the lifestyle of Welsh people living in a coal mining town of that period. The 1900 House
''The 1900 House'' is a historical reenactment reality television series made by Wall to Wall/Channel 4 in 1999. The program features a modern family attempting to live in the way of the late Victorians for three months in a modified house. It was first broadcast on Channel 4 in the United Kingdom and PBS in America (with American commentary). The series was accompanied by the book ''1900 House: Featuring Extracts from the Personal Diaries of Joyce and Paul Bowler and Their Family'' by Mark McCrum and Matthew Sturgis.
