''The 18 Martial Arts'' () is Taiwanese American R&B singer-songwriter Wang Leehom's fourteenth Mandarin studio album. It was released on 12 August 2010 by Sony Music Taiwan. The tracks "你不知道的事" (All The Things You Never Knew) and "柴米油鹽醬醋茶" (Firewood, Rice, Oil, Salt, Soy Sauce, Vinegar, Tea) are listed at number 6 and 33 respectively on Hit Fm Taiwan's ''Hit Fm Annual Top 100 Singles Chart'' (Hit-Fm年度百首單曲) for 2010. A track "Bo Ya Cuts The Strings" was written again by Mayday vocalist, Ashin who previously write his song "Beside the Plum Blossoms" and first time written by 831 vocalist, Up Lee. Wang Leehom (; born May 17, 1976), sometimes credited as Leehom Wang, is an American singer-songwriter, actor, producer, and film director. Formally trained at Eastman School of Music, Williams College and Berklee College of Music, his music is known for fusing hip-hop and R&B, with traditional Chinese music (Beijing opera, Kunqu, Chinese orchestra, and tribal music from Tibet, Yunan, and Mongolia). Since his 1995 debut, Wang has released 25 albums, that have sold over 60 million copies. He is a four-time winner and 19-time nominee of the Golden Melody Awards, the "Grammys" of Chinese music. Mandopop or Mandapop refers to Standard Chinese, Mandarin popular music. The genre has its origin in the jazz-influenced popular music of 1930s Shanghai known as Shidaiqu; with later influences coming from Japanese enka, Hong Kong's Cantopop, Taiwan's Hokkien pop, and in particular the School campus song, Campus Song folk movement of the 1970s. 'Mandopop' may be used as a general term to describe popular songs performed in Mandarin. Heart Beat () is the 13th album of the American Taiwanese R&B artist and composer Leehom Wang. The album was released on 26 December 2008. According to Taiwan's G-Music chart the album is the sixth best selling album in Taiwan in 2009. About the album Leehom debuted the first song "What's Up Rock!!" (搖滾怎麼了!!) on radio in September 2008 . This song shows a fusion of his "chinked-out" style with the genre of rock involved as well. He collaborated with Janet Hsieh playing the Pipa, merging traditional Chinese sounds with that of modern electric guitar to unveil rock with an Eastern touch. Chen Hsin-hung (); Pha̍k-fa-sṳ: Chhîn Sìn-fên, nicknamed Ashin (;Pha̍k-fa-sṳ: A-sìn), born 6 December 1975, is a Taiwanese singer-songwriter, author, and the vocalist of the Taiwanese band Mayday. The Last Day of Summer 831 (), is a Taiwanese band that debuted in 2007 with five members, ADian, Xiao Ju, Liu Bi, A Pu, Ba Tian. History Five high school students started 831 on August 31, 2003. The band chose the name 831 because it refers to day they started the band, which was the final day of summer before they would start their final year of high school. 831's members are Xiao Ju (小橘), who plays the keyboard and provides the chorus; Liu Bi (刘逼), who plays the guitar; A Pu (阿璞) who provides the guitars and sings; ADian (阿电), who plays the drums; and Ba Tian (霸天), who plays the bass.
