The 100 Greatest Films Of Argentine Cinema
The 100 Greatest Films of Argentine Cinema (Spanish: ''Las 100 mejores películas del cine argentino''), also known as the Survey of Argentine cinema (Spanish: ''Encuesta de cine argentino''), are a series of opinion polls carried out to establish a list of the greatest films of Argentine cinema of all time. The original survey was carried out by the Museo del Cine Pablo Ducrós Hicken in the years 1977, 1984, 1991 and 2000. In 2022, a new edition was held, organized by the film magazines ''La vida útil'', ''Taipei'' and ''La tierra quema'', with support from INCAA, the Mar del Plata International Film Festival, the FestiFreak International Film Festival of La Plata, the Casa de la Cultura of General Roca and the Museo del Cine Pablo Ducrós Hicken. In the 1977 and 1984 lists, '' Prisioneros de la tierra'' (1939) by Mario Soffici reached first place, while '' Crónica de un niño solo'' (1965) by Leonardo Favio was the most voted in 2000. Leonardo Favio
Fuad Jorge Jury (28 May 1938 – 5 November 2012), better known by his stage name Leonardo Favio (), was an Argentine singer, actor and filmmaker. He is considered one of Argentina's best film directors and one of the country's most enduring cultural figures, as well as a popular singer-songwriter throughout Latin America. Much beloved in Latin America, Favio was one of the most successful Argentine singers in the 1960s and 1970s, with big hits like (with Carola Leyton), , , , , , , , , , , and . He also starred in many films before establishing himself as a director. At the time he began his singing career (mid-1960s), Favio was already an established film director. His first feature movie – '' Chronicle of a Boy Alone'' – and the second one – '' El Romance del Aniceto y la Francisca'' – are considered to be some of the best Argentine movies of all times.

The screenplay, written by Sergio Leonardo, was based on a novel by journalist Adolfo Jasca. Raymundo Gleyzer
Raymundo Gleyzer (September 25, 1941 - missing since May 27, 1976) was an Argentine screenwriter and filmmaker. He specialized in documentaries and politically charged fiction films. Gleyzer was part of the left-wing faction of the Peronist political movement, and a staunch opponent of Argentina's last military dictatorship (1976-1983). In 1976 he was kidnapped, likely murdered and disappeared as part of the dictatorship's campaign of State-sponsored terrorism.
