''That's Life!'' (stylised thats life! and usually abbreviated to ''TL!'') is an Australian entertainment and lifestyle weekly magazine by Are Media. It is not related to the United Kingdom magazine publication of the same title, which is published by Bauer Media Group. ''TL!'' is a reality-based magazine, with most stories contributed by its readers as well as containing puzzles, recipes, health, beauty and fashion advice. In January 2019, that's life! added a monthly edition of the magazine to its publication schedule. Are Media is an Australian media company that was formed after the 2020 purchase of the assets of Bauer Media Australia, which had in turn acquired the assets of Pacific Magazines, AP Magazines and Australian Consolidated Press during the 2010s. It is owned by the Sydney investment firm Mercury Capital. History Australian Consolidated Press Consolidated Press was formed in 1936, combining ownership of ''The Daily Telegraph'' and Frank Packer's ''Australian Women's Weekly''. ''that's life!'' is a British women's magazine founded in 1995 and published by H Bauer UK, a subsidiary of the German Bauer Media Group on a weekly basis, with new issues released every Thursday. The current editor Sophie Hearsey has been in the position since 2010, joining from sister title ''Take a Break'' replacing Jo Checkley when Checkley left to join rival publication ''Love It!'', owned by Burda Media.
