''Thank You for the Music'' is a box set by the Swedish pop group ABBA, released on 31 October 1994. It consists of 66 tracks across four discs, with the first three discs including all of the band's singles from 1972 - 1982, many B-sides, and some album tracks in chronological order; while the fourth disc includes some rarities and some previously unreleased material, most notably the 23-and-a-half minute long medley ''"ABBA Undeleted''" which includes the track Just a Notion, released as part of Voyage in 2021. This box set marks the appearance of several ABBA tracks on compact disc for the first time. In 2008 the ''Thank You for the Music'' box set was reissued in downsized packaging with a revised booklet. ABBA
ABBA ( , , formerly named Björn & Benny, Agnetha & Anni-Frid or Björn & Benny, Agnetha & Frida) are a Swedish supergroup formed in Stockholm in 1972 by Agnetha Fältskog, Björn Ulvaeus, Benny Andersson, and Anni-Frid Lyngstad. Neil Sedaka
Neil Sedaka (; born March 13, 1939) is an American singer-songwriter and pianist. Since his music career began in 1957, he has sold millions of records worldwide and has written or co-written over 500 songs for himself and other artists, collaborating mostly with lyricists Howard "Howie" Greenfield and Phil Cody. After a short-lived tenure as a founding member of the doo-wop group the Tokens, Sedaka achieved a string of hit singles over the late 1950s and early 1960s, including "Oh! Carol" (1959), " Calendar Girl" (1960), "Happy Birthday Sweet Sixteen" (1961) and " Breaking Up Is Hard to Do" (1962). It was the fifth single to be released from their album '' Ring Ring'', but unusually, it was not issued in ABBA's home-country of Sweden, but elsewhere in Scandinavia. ''The Complete Studio Recordings'' is a box set of all of the studio material released by the Swedish pop group ABBA. It was released on November 7, 2005 and consists of 9 CDs and 2 DVDs, plus a full color booklet with a timeline and photos. Another booklet containing complete lyrics to all of the music was also included. There is one CD for each of ABBA's 8 studio albums. These CDs also include bonus tracks in the form of non-album tracks and foreign language versions. The final CD contains additional rare tracks, including songs released after the group had disbanded. Of particular interest is the rare alternate mix of " Waterloo", which has never been available on CD before.
