Thameside (bus Company)
Thameside is a bus company operating in East London. It is a subsidiary brand of Stagecoach London and operates services under contract to Transport for London. The brand is not publicly used since 2010 as all buses are branded as Stagecoach, but it exists as a legal entity. Thameside shares its headquarters with sister company East London at West Ham. History Thameside was set up to operate route 248 from 27 September 2008. In March 2009 route 372 was transferred followed in July 2009 by route 174. In March 2011, route 287 was transferred from Barking (BK) Garage to this garage upon contract renewal. On 28th September 2013 route 165, route 252, route 256 and route 365 commenced operations after they were won from First London (except 256 Which was previously run by Arriva). route 103 was transferred from Romford (NS) on 27th June 2015. The route was then won by Arriva and commenced on 14th October 2017. (This remains the only route loss RM has suffered). route 499 ...

Scania OmniCity
The Scania OmniCity is an integrally constructed transverse-engined low floor city bus that was available from Scania on the European market between 1997 and 2012. The OmniCity was introduced in September 1996 as the first product based on the 4-series bus range. The first prototypes were built in the former DAB plant in Silkeborg, Denmark, and serial production continued there in 1997, joined by Scania's plant in Katrineholm, Sweden. From 1999 it was also built at the plant in Słupsk, Poland. Production in Silkeborg ended in early 2000, and Katrineholm in 2004, with only a few test buses in 2005 to 2006. Since then all have been built in Poland. In 2006, the OmniCity was upgraded from the 4-series to the new N-series, which also included a thorough facelift, with the large rectangular front headlamps being replaced by smaller, round items, and further tweaks carried out to the rear styling. London Buses route 252 is a Transport for London contracted bus route in London, England. Running between Collier Row and Hornchurch, it is operated by Stagecoach London. History Route 252 originally operated within Romford. On 8 January 1958, it was extended to Collier Row and converted to double deck operation with AEC Regent III RTs. From 26 November 1958 it was extended to Hornchurch. On 13 March 1971, it was converted back to single deck operation with AEC Merlins, on 1 March 1975 double deckers returned in the form of Daimler Fleetlines. It again became a single deck operation on 28 November 1981 with Leyland Nationals introduced. On 21 June 1986 the route was extended from Hornchurch to Gidea Park station.
