''Thaiyalkaran'' () is a 1991 Indian Tamil-language drama film directed by S. P. Muthuraman, written by Mahendran and produced by Kalaipuli S. Thanu. The film stars R. Parthiban, Aishwarya, Saikumar Pudipeddi, Sreeja and Charmila, with Muralikumar, Chokkalinga Bhagavathar, Vasu Vikram, Dubbing Janaki and Ganeshkar in supporting roles. It was released on 14 January 1991. Plot Pandian is a poor tailor, he is a fearless and smart man. He is appreciated by most of the villagers for his bravery. Kaveri is in love with Pandian but Pandian has no feelings for her. Kaveri is the sister of Jayabal, a wealthy rowdy who controls the fish market. Later, Pandian saves many people. He first saves a woman who has been beaten by her alcoholic son. He then saves an old man who was a famous singer in the past, now he suffers from poverty. Saikumar Pudipeddi
Pudipeddi Sai Kumar (born 27 July 1960) is an Indian actor, dubbing artist and television presenter who works predominantly in Telugu, Kannada, in addition to a few Tamil films. He has received three state Filmfare Awards South, two Nandi Awards and two SIMA Awards for his work in Telugu and Kannada. His performance in ''Prasthanam'' (2010) featured in the list of the "100 Greatest Performances of the Decade" by ''Film Companion.'' Early and personal life Sai Kumar was born to P. J. Thyagu (actor)
Thyagu (born 5 February 1958) is an Indian actor and comedian who appears in Tamil films. He is the grandson of violinist Kumbakonam Rajamanickam Pillai. Career Beginning as a protagonist, Thyagu played roles in ''Oru Thalai Ragam'' and '' Palaivana Solai'', before playing antagonistic roles in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Shanta Meena (born 23 May 1971), credited as Aishwariyaa Bhaskaran, is an Indian actress who has acted in Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and Telugu movies and along with several Malayalam and Tamil television soap operas. Chokkalinga Bhagavathar, also known as K. A. Chokkalinga Bhagavathar or M. A. Chokkalinga Bhagavathar (1907 - 21 January 2002) Was an Indian stage and film artiste who acted mostly in Tamil language films. J. Alexander (25 July 1939 – 2 April 2019), known professionally as Mahendran, was an Indian film director, screenwriter and actor, known for his work in the Tamil film industry. Mahendran is regarded as one of the greatest film makers of Tamil cinema and has influenced several filmmakers of the generations that followed.
