Thai Expressway System
The Expressway Authority of Thailand ( th, การทางพิเศษแห่งประเทศไทย) (EXAT) is a state enterprise under the Ministry of Transport. It was founded in 1972, and operates Thailand's expressway ( ''thang phiset'') system, which refers to (usually elevated) high-capacity controlled-access highways serving the Greater Bangkok area and some nearby provinces. EXAT does ''not'' operate the separate Thai motorway network, which covers intercity controlled-access highways. Expressway system First opened in 1981, the system currently (2015) consists of seven expressways and four expressway links adding up to a total distance of , unchanged since FY2012. Chalong Rat Expressway
Chalong ( th, ฉลอง, ) is a sub-district (''tambon'') in the southern portion of Phuket Province, Thailand. It is one of eight sub-districts in the capital district ('' amphoe mueang'') Mueang Phuket. Udon Ratthaya Expressway
Udon ( or ) is a thick noodle made from wheat flour, used in Japanese cuisine. It is a comfort food for many Japanese people. There are a variety of ways it is prepared and served. The Bang Na Expressway (full name: Bang Na - Bang Phli - Bang Pakong Expressway), officially Burapha Withi Expressway ( th, ทางพิเศษบูรพาวิถี), is a six-lane elevated highway in Thailand. It is a toll road and runs above National Highway route 34, (Bang Na–Trat Highway) owned by the Expressway Authority of Thailand (EXAT).
