Texas Tomorrow Fund
The Texas Tomorrow Fund is a prepaid college investment program operating in Texas. There are two plans: *''The Texas Guaranteed Tuition Plan (TGTP)'' *''The Texas College Savings Plan (formerly the Tomorrow's College Investment Plan).'' The former, The''Texas Guaranteed Tuition Plan'', is a constitutionally guaranteed plan administered by the Board that allows individuals to prepay college tuition and required fees at Texas public two- and four-year colleges and universities at today’s cost. The latter, the ''Texas College Savings Plan'', is a qualified 529 college savings and investment plan offered through the state and managed by NorthStar Financial Services Group, LLC. The Guaranteed Education Tuition Program, or GET Program, is one of two 529 college savings plans administered by Washington College Savings Plans (WA529). WA529 is part of Washington Student Achievement Council, an agency of the U.S. state of Washington for residents of the state. GET is a 529 prepaid tuition savings plan, while Washington's other plan, DreamAhead, is a 529 college investment plan. As with any 529 plan, account owners invest in the program on behalf of a beneficiary – typically the owner's child or grandchild – in order to prepay for expenses associated with the beneficiary attending a higher education institution.
