Texas Tech Red Raiders And Lady Raiders
The Texas Tech Red Raiders and Lady Raiders are the athletic teams that represent Texas Tech University, located in Lubbock, Texas. The women's basketball team uses the name Lady Raiders, while the school's other women's teams use the "Red Raiders" name. The university's athletic program fields 17 varsity teams in 11 sports all of whom have combined to win 70 conference championships as well as 4 national championships. Teresa Wilson
Teresa Wilson is an American, former collegiate softball pitcher and head coach. She played college softball at Missouri from 1980 to 1983. For her years of eligibility in the NCAA Division I, she is the career leader in ERA and WHIP for the Tigers, which also rank top-10 in the NCAA. She served as the softball head coach at Oregon, Minnesota, Washington, and Texas Tech. She was a coach for the Carolina Diamonds and Beijing Eagles of the National Pro Fastpitch (NPF). Shanon Hays (born February 12, 1968) is an American softball coach for the Grand Canyon Antelopes. Previously, he was the head coach at Texas Tech and remains the winningest coach in program history. He also has held several positions as a men's basketball coach and an athletic director. Early years Hays played college baseball and basketball at Lubbock Christian University where he lettered in both sports in 1987. He transferred to Texas Tech where he played under his father Larry Hays. Coaching career Hays began his coaching career as a graduate assistant at Texas Tech in 1991-92. Early life and education Born in Post, Texas, Gregory graduated from Livingston Independent School District, Livingston High School in Livingston, Texas in 2001 and attended Texas A&M University.
