Texas State Highway Spur 69
Spur 69 is a short, unsigned, four-lane state-maintained roadway in Austin, Texas. It is in length and is named Koenig Lane . It forms a link between RM 2222 and US 290 at I-35. Spur 69 is signed over its entire length as RM 2222, rather than as Spur 69. Between 1939 and 1945, Spur 69 referred to a short section of what is now SH 12 near Deweyville. The current location in Austin was first assigned in 1969. In 1990, Spur 69 was redesignated as SH 169; the designation was reverted to Spur 69 in 1991. There already was a SH 69 at the time. US 290 (TX)
U.S. Route 290 (US 290) is an east–west U.S. Highway located entirely within the state of Texas. Its western terminus is at Interstate 10 southeast of Segovia, and its eastern terminus is at Interstate 610 in northwest Houston. It is the main highway between Houston and Austin and is a cutoff for travelers wanting to bypass San Antonio on Interstate 10. Ranch to Market Road 2222 (RM 2222) is a ranch to market road in Travis County, Texas, maintained by the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT). Route description RM 2222 begins at an intersection with RM 620 in west Austin in the Four Points neighborhood. Northwest of RM 620, the road is called Bullick Hollow Road and continues to the east side of Lake Travis. RM 2222 proceeds southeast from RM 620 for to intersect Loop 360. This section of road is a four-lane, lightly developed Texas Hill Country road. It includes Tumbleweed Hill, a half-mile ten-percent gradient hill. Texas State Highway 87
State Highway 87 (SH 87) runs for between Galveston, Texas (at a terminus shared with Interstate 45 and Spur 342) to U.S. Highway 59 and U.S. Highway 84 in Timpson, Texas. Highway 87 has a notable stretch between Sea Rim State Park and High Island, Texas that has been washed out repeatedly over the decades and has been closed continuously since 1990. Highland Mall
Highland Mall was a shopping mall located in north Austin, Texas, United States, on Airport Boulevard west of I-35 and north of US Route 290. Opened in 1971, Highland Mall was Austin's first suburban shopping mall. Highland Mall was jointly owned by General Growth and Simon Property Group until 2011. Austin Community College began acquiring the surrounding land in 2010, assumed ownership of the last parcel it did not already control in August 2011.
