Spur 303 is a state highway between Interstate 820 in Fort Worth, and Duncanville Road in Dallas. At in length, it is Texas' longest highway spur. The portion in Dallas between Loop 12 and Mountain Creek Parkway (near Dallas Baptist University) is officially designated Kiest Boulevard, and it also passes over the Mountain Creek Lake Bridge (however, the stretch between Mountain Creek Parkway and SE 14th Street, which is the location of the bridge, is not part of the Spur).The minute order notes the stretch ending at Florina Road; this road was later renamed Mountain Creek Parkway. Belt Line Road is a loop road that traverses through 16 cities in Dallas County, Texas. Belt Line Road is the outer complete loop which encircles Dallas, in contrast with I-635 which forms a partial inner loop, Loop 12 which forms a complete inner loop, and President George Bush Turnpike (SH 190), a partial outer loop. Texas State Highway Loop 12
Loop 12 is a state highway that runs mostly within the city limits of Dallas, Texas. The western segment of the loop is named after General Walton Walker, who served and died in South Korea. During the 1950s and 1960s, Loop 12 was the outer beltway in the Dallas area, having since been supplanted by Interstate 635 (I-635), which is itself being supplanted by the President George Bush Turnpike (SH 190). Spur 408, officially designated as "Patriot Parkway", is a connecting freeway between Loop 12 and Interstate 20, completely within the city of Dallas, Texas. The road is an integral part of the orbital road around Dallas, in conjunction with Interstate 635, and parts of Loop 12, Interstate 35E, and Interstate 20. Route description The freeway passes through a generally undeveloped area of Dallas; there are no businesses located anywhere on the route that can provide services to motorists. Mountain Creek Lake
Mountain Creek Lake is a reservoir located southwest of Downtown Dallas, Texas, United States, in the Mountain Creek area of the city. It is located south of SH 180, west of Spur 408, north of I-20, and east of FM 1382. The defunct Naval Air Station Dallas (Hensley Field), now an Armed Forces Reserve Center, is located on the northern shore of the lake. Mountain Creek Lake Park is on the lake's southeastern and southwestern edges. The Texas Department of State Health Services in April 1996 issued a ban on keeping or eating fish due to high contamination levels of PCBs and other toxic chemicals. The ban was lifted in 2010, but TDSHS advised against consuming any fish caught in the lake. President George Bush Turnpike
The President George Bush Turnpike (PGBT) is a toll road running through the northern, northeastern and western suburbs, forming a partial loop around Dallas, Texas, United States. It is named for the late George H. W. Bush, the 41st president of the United States. At its west end near Belt Line Road in Irving, State Highway 161 (SH 161) continues southwest to Interstate 20 (I-20) in Grand Prairie.
