Texas State Highway Loop 49
Loop 49 (also called Toll 49) is a currently circular tollway that, along with I-20, will encircle the city of Tyler and serve other various communities in Northeast Texas upon its completion. Routing of the loop north of I-20 bypasses Lindale to the west and passes by the west and south sides of Tyler south of I-20. The highway interconnects suburban areas and areas of potential development around Tyler with I-20 and provides local areas easier access to the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex. Currently, the route exists as an undivided two-lane highway stretching from US 69 near Lindale to SH 110 near Whitehouse. According to TxDOT, costs have exceeded $176 million, and the projected total cost for the completion of the route as a divided four-lane highway is still unknown. North East Texas Regional Mobility Authority
The North East Texas Regional Mobility Authority (NET RMA) is a Regional Mobility Authority covering several County (United States), counties in the United States, U.S. U.S. state, state of Texas. The NET RMA was created by the Texas Transportation Commission in 2004, originally containing the counties of Smith County, Texas, Smith and Gregg County, Texas, Gregg. State Highway 31 (Texas)
State Highway 31 (SH 31) runs from U.S. 84 northeast of Waco via Corsicana, Athens, Tyler, Kilgore to U.S. 80 in Longview. History SH 31 was a route proposed on October 9, 1917 to run from Waco northeast via Corsicana and Athens to Tyler, which remains the western portion of its current route to this day. On November 27, 1922, the route had been extended northeast to Gladewater, replacing part of SH 15 so that SH 15 had only one route west of Gladewater. On October 26, 1932, SH 31 Spur was designated through Malakoff. On September 26, 1939, the section from Tyler to Gladewater was reassigned to U.S. 271 (which it had been cosigned with earlier), with SH 31 now being extended east to Kilgore over former SH 176. State Highway 110 (Texas)
State Highway 110 (SH 110) is a state highway in the U.S. state of Texas that runs from Grand Saline to Rusk. Route description SH 110 begins at an intersection with US 84 and Loop 62 in downtown Rusk and leaves the courthouse square north with US 84, crossing US 69 on its way to a split on the northeast side of Rusk where US 84 goes off east and SH 110 turns north, out of town. The road intersects with SH 204 in Ponta. The road intersects with U.S. Highway 79 in New Summerfield before crossing the county line into Smith County as it enters Troup. After a brief downtown multiplex with SH 135, SH 110 leaves Troup going northwest through Whitehouse on its way to Tyler. From Palestine to Linden, SH 155 is part of the Blue Star Memorial Highway. Route description SH 155 begins at US 79 / SH 19 in Palestine northeastward via Frankston to SH 64 at Tyler. Just north of Frankston, a series of three causeways, one measuring a mile in length, crosses Lake Palestine and passes through the resort towns of Coffee City and Dogwood City. State Highway 22 (SH 22) is a state highway in the U.S. state of Texas that travels from Corsicana to Hamilton in the north central part of the state. History SH 22 was one of the 25 original state highways proposed on June 21, 1917, along a path from Wichita Falls to Comanche. On August 18, 1917, plans had been extended from Comanche eastward to Hillsboro. On September 10, 1917, plans had been extended from Hillsboro eastward to Nacogdoches. On March 17, 1919, SH 22 was extended to Logansport.
