State Highway 119 (SH 119) is a state highway in the U.S. state of Texas that runs from Stockdale, Texas, Stockdale to U.S. Highway 77 Alternate (Texas), Alt. US 77 and U.S. Highway 183 (Texas), U.S. Highway 183 north of Goliad, Texas, Goliad. Route description SH 119 begins at an intersection with U.S. Route 87 in Texas, U.S. Route 87 and State Highway 97 (Texas), State Highway 97 just southeast of the city of Stockdale, TX, Stockdale. It travels southeast through farm and ranchland before reaching Yorktown, TX, Yorktown. The route continues southeast, passing through the unincorporated town of Weesatche, Texas, Weesatche before reaching its southern terminus at an intersection with U.S. Route 183 in Texas, U.S. Route 183 and U.S. Route 77 Alternate, about 9 miles north of Goliad, Texas, Goliad. U.S. Highway 87 (US 87) is a north–south United States highway (though it is signed east–west in New Mexico) that runs for 1,998 miles (3,215 km) from northern Montana to southern Texas, making it the longest north-south road to not have a "1" in its number and the third longest north-south road in the country, behind U.S. Route 41, U.S. 41 and U.S. Route 1, U.S. 1.
