It is one of two high schools in the Texas City Independent School District (TCISD), the other being La Marque High School. The main school building for Texas City High opened in 1952. Texas City is a city in Galveston County, Texas, Galveston County in the U.S. state of Texas. Powerlifting is a strength sport that consists of three attempts at maximal weight on three lifts: squat, bench press, and deadlift.
