Tevin Brown (born September 23, 1998) is an American professional basketball player for Metropolitans 92 of the LNB Pro A. He played college basketball for the Murray State Racers of the Ohio Valley Conference (OVC). High school career Brown played basketball for Fairhope High School in Fairhope, Alabama. As a junior, he averaged 24 points and 11 rebounds per game, and was named Coastal Alabama Player of the Year by ''AL.com''. In his senior season, Brown averaged 22 points, 11 rebounds and 4.1 assists per game. He committed to playing college basketball for Murray State, choosing the Racers over Florida Gulf Coast, Illinois State, Little Rock, Middle Tennessee and Old Dominion. Murray State Racers Men's Basketball
The Murray State Racers men's basketball program represents Murray State University in intercollegiate men's basketball. Murray State completed a 74-season run in the Ohio Valley Conference, a part of Division I of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), in 2021–22, and moved to the Missouri Valley Conference on July 1, 2022. The Racers have played home games at the CFSB Center on their campus in Murray, Kentucky since 1998. Murray State made its 18th appearance in the NCAA tournament in 2022. The Evansville Purple Aces men's basketball team represents the Purple Aces of the University of Evansville, located in Evansville, Indiana, in NCAA Division I basketball competition. They play their home games at the Ford Center. Evansville's athletics teams were originally known as the Pioneers in the early part of the 1900s. Redshirt, in United States college athletics, is a delay or suspension of an athlete's participation in order to lengthen their period of eligibility. Typically, a student's athletic eligibility in a given sport is four seasons, aligning with the four years of academic classes typically required to earn a bachelor's degree at an American college or university.
