Tetsurō Araki
is a Japanese animator, storyboard artist, and director. He goes by the alias when working as an episode director and key animator. His most notable direction titles include '' Death Note'' and the first three seasons of '' Attack on Titan''. Biography After graduating from Seibugakuenbunri Junior High School and Senshu University's Department of Humanities, Araki joined Madhouse as a production assistant. He debuted as an episode director in his second year with the company. His directorial debut was 2005's original video animation '' Otogi-Jūshi Akazukin''. His wife is , who is also a staff member of the animation production company Gonzo. Araki worked with animation director Takayuki Hirao when he was at Madhouse, and he has occasionally worked as a key animator in projects that Hirao has directed. Kurozuka (novel)
is a Japanese novel written by Baku Yumemakura. A manga adaptation was illustrated by and it was serialized in the seinen manga magazine '' Oh Super Jump'' starting in 2003 by Shueisha and ended in December 2006. An anime adaptation by Madhouse was announced by Japanese anime television network Animax in May 2008 and ran between October and December 2008, spanning a total of 12 episodes. Plot The series begins in 12th century Japan and centers on Kuro, a character based loosely on the legendary Japanese swordsman Minamoto no Yoshitsune. Kuro and his servant, Benkei, meet a beautiful and mysterious woman named Kuromitsu while on the run from Kuro's elder brother, who seeks his life. Kuromitsu and Kuro fall in love, but he soon discovers that she harbors a terrible secret: she is a vampiric immortal. ''Highschool of the Dead'' is an anime series adapted from the manga of the same name written by Daisuke Satō, Daisuke Sato and illustrated by Shōji Satō (manga artist), Shoji Sato. The series is set in the present day, beginning as the world is struck by a deadly pandemic that turns humans into zombies.
