Tetsuo Morimoto
is a Japanese politician of the Democratic Party of Japan, a member of the House of Representatives of Japan, House of Representatives in the Diet of Japan, Diet (national legislature). A native of Iinan, Mie and graduate of Tsu City College, he worked at the government of the town of Iinan from 1968 to 1998. ''JANJAN'' (), short for ''Japan Alternative News for Justices and New Cultures'' (), was a Japanese online newspaper started by Ken Takeuchi, journalist and former mayor of Kamakura, Kanagawa. Launched in February 2003, the newspaper is credited for pioneering citizen journalism in Japan. After registration, anyone was free to post comments on the JANJAN website.
