Tetovo Municipality
Tetovo ( mk, Тетово, ; sq, Tetovë) is a municipality in the northwest part of North Macedonia. Tetovo is also the name of the town where the municipal seat is found. Tetovo Municipality is part of the Polog Statistical Region. Geography The municipality borders Kosovo to the north and west, Tearce Municipality to the northeast, Jegunovce Municipality to the east, Želino Municipality to the southeast, Brvenica Municipality to the south, and Bogovinje Municipality to the southwest. History As a result of the redrawing of municipality borders in 2003, the rural Šipkovica Municipality and Džepčište Municipality were attached to Tetovo Municipality. Without these two municipalities, the population of the Municipality of Tetovo was 65,318 according to the census of 1994, and 70,841 at the last census.2002 census results

Šar Mountains
The Šar Mountains ( Serbian and mk, Шар Планина, Šar Planina, colloquially also ) or Sharr Mountains ( sq, Malet e Sharrit), form a mountain range in the Balkans that extends from Kosovo and the northwest of North Macedonia to northeastern Albania. The section in Kosovo is a national park, and the section in North Macedonia became a national park on 30 June 2021. Etymology In antiquity, the mountains were known as ''Scardus'', ''Scodrus'', or ''Scordus'' (το Σκάρδον ὂρος in Polybius and Ptolemy). which evolved into its modern name. In the early 16th century, it was recorded that the mountain was called ''Catena Mundi'' (Latin for "the chains of the world"). Ljuboten
Ljuboten ( Serbian and mk, ) or Luboten (in Albanian) is a peak of the Šar Mountains located on the border between Kosovo and North Macedonia. Its elevation is . Ljuboten, although not the highest peak of the range, is somewhat isolated from the rest of the mountains, making it visible from both Pristina and Skopje. The majority of Ljuboten, the north, north-west, east, and south-east sides are located within Kosovo. On the Macedonian side of the peak there is a mountain house called Ljuboten, as well as Shija Ljubotenska ("Ljuboten's Neck"), Kozja Karpa ("Goat's Rock"), Shiljast Kamen ("Pointed Rock"), and Rogacevski Korita. 2019 Albania Earthquake
Northwestern Albania was struck by a magnitude 6.4 earthquake with an epicentre 16 kilometres (9.9 mi) west-southwest of Mamurras, at 03:54 CET (UTC+1) on 26 November 2019. The earthquake lasted at least 50 seconds and was felt in Albania's capital Tirana, and in places as far away as Bari, Taranto and Belgrade, 370 kilometres (230 mi) northeast of the epicentre.
