Tetiana Petrova
Tetiana Petrova (born 5 June 1993) is a Ukrainian freestyle skier, specializing in moguls. She competed for Ukraine at the 2018 Winter Olympics in the women's moguls event. Career Petrova began competing in February 2014 winning national championships in Slovenia. Next year she debuted at World Championships in Kreischberg, Austria, where she was 33rd in moguls and 31st in dual moguls. Later she took a pause and returned at 2017 Winter Universiade in Almaty, Kazakhstan, where she finished 5th in both moguls and dual moguls. At 2017 World Championships in Spain's Sierra Nevada she was 29th in moguls and 27th in dual moguls. FIS Freestyle Skiing World Cup
The FIS Freestyle Ski World Cup is an annual freestyle skiing competition arranged by the International Ski Federation since 1980. Currently six disciplines are included in world cup: moguls, aerials, ski cross, halfpipe, slopestyle and big air. In the 1980s and 1990s there were also ski ballet and combined, which no longer exist. Races are hosted primarily at ski resorts in North America, the Alps in Europe, with regular stops in Scandinavia, east Asia, but a few races have also been held in the Southern Hemisphere. Freestyle Skiing At The 2018 Winter Olympics – Women's Moguls
The Women's moguls event in freestyle skiing at the 2018 Winter Olympics took place at the Bogwang Phoenix Park, Pyeongchang, South Korea from 9 to 11 February 2018. It was won by Perrine Laffont, with Justine Dufour-Lapointe taking silver and Yuliya Galysheva taking bronze. For Laffont and Galysheva these were first Olympic medals. Galysheva also won the first ever medal in Kazakhstan in freestyle skiing. The field included the defending champion, Justine Dufour-Lapointe, and the 2014 silver medalist and her sister, Chloé Dufour-Lapointe. Both advanced to Final 1, but only Justine advanced further to Final 2 (and eventually to Final 3).
