Terry Smith (sportscaster)
Terry Smith (born June 14, 1955) is an American sports announcer for KLAA radio in Los Angeles, California, and has broadcast play-by-play for the Los Angeles Angels since 2002. Smith also hosts the Angels' post-game call-in show "Angel Talk" and the Angels' hot-stove program "Angels Tonight". KLAA (830 kHz "Angels Radio") is a commercial AM radio station licensed to the city of Orange, California, and broadcasting to the Greater Los Angeles Area. The station is owned by LAA 1, LLC, composed of the owners and executives of the Los Angeles Angels baseball team, and is held separately from the baseball club. KLAA's studios and offices are located on the grounds of Angel Stadium of Anaheim in Anaheim, California. The transmitter is in Chino, California, off McCarty Road. KLAA broadcasts by day at the maximum power permitted for commercial AM stations, 50,000 watts.
