Faryion Edward Wardrip (born March 6, 1959) is an American Rape, rapist and serial killer who assaulted and murdered a total of five women. Four of the women were killed in Wichita Falls, Texas, Wichita Falls, Texas, and the surrounding counties. One woman was murdered in Fort Worth, Texas, Fort Worth, approximately a two-hour drive southeast of Wichita Falls. Wardrip's killing spree began at the end of 1984 and lasted until the middle of 1986. All of his female victims were white, were between the ages of 20 and 25, weighed less than , and were under tall. With the murders occurring across multiple jurisdictions, officials from three law enforcement agencies - the Wichita Falls Police Department, the Wichita County Sheriff's Department and the Archer County Sheriff's Department - initially led isolated murder investigations. Salem, Indiana
Salem is a city in and the county seat of Washington Township, Washington County, in the U.S. state of Indiana. The population was 6,319 at the 2010 census. History Salem was laid out and platted in 1814. It was named for Salem, North Carolina, the hometown of one of the city founders. The Salem post office has been in operation since 1816. Morgan's Raid In June 1863, the Confederate cavalry under John Hunt Morgan had departed Tennessee on what would later become known as Morgan's Raid. Traveling through Tennessee and into Kentucky, Morgan eventually crossed into Indiana; he reached Salem on July 10, 1863, coming north from Corydon. Upon entering Salem at approximately 9 a.m., Morgan immediately took possession of the town and placed guards over the stores and streets.
