	Terry O'Connor (politician) Terrance Patrick O'Connor, QC (born March 24, 1940) is a former politician in Ontario, Canada. He served in the House of Commons of Canada from 1972 to 1974, and in the Legislative Assembly of Ontario from 1985 to 1987. O'Connor was a member of the Progressive Conservative Party. From 1993 to 2015 he was a judge of the Ontario Superior Court of Justice. Background O'Connor was born in Toronto, and graduated with a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Western Ontario. He was called to the bar in 1966. He served as executive assistant to Attorney General of Ontario Allan Lawrence. Politics O'Connor was elected to the Canadian House of Commons in the 1972 federal election, defeating Liberal incumbent Rud Whiting by 2,221 votes in Halton. 	Terry O'Connor (musician) Terry O'Connor (14 October 1897 – 15 September 1983) was an Irish musician and music teacher, deputy conductor of the orchestra at 2RN, co-founder of the Dublin String Orchestra and professor of orchestra at the Royal Irish Academy of Music. Early life and family Terry O'Connor was born Mary Teresa O'Connor in Johnstown, Waterford. She was the second eldest daughter of at least four of grocer and vintner James O'Connor and Brigid (née Keirsey). She attended the Ursuline Convent, Waterford, and Loreto College, St Stephen's Green, Dublin. She went on to study violin at the Royal Irish Academy of Music (RIAM). 	Tere O'Connor Tere O'Connor (born 1958) is an American dancer, choreographer and educator. Life and career Tere O'Connor was born in Rochester, New York, and graduated in 1979 with a B.A. from State University of New York at Purchase. He performed in the companies of Rosalind Newman and Matthew Diamond, and began working as a choreographer in 1982. He regularly collaborates with composer James Baker in works for the Tere O'Connor Dance company. O'Connor's works have been performed internationally. Notable dancers and choreographers including Lucy Guerin have danced with his company. From 1990-99, O'Connor was an instructor in Dance at Tisch School of the Arts, New York University, and he became a professor at the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign.
