Terry N. Trieweiler
Terry Nicholas Trieweiler (born March 21, 1948) was a justice of the Montana Supreme Court from 1990 to 2003. He served on the board of directors for several national trial lawyer associations and was selected as Montana Trial Lawyer of the Year in 2010. Early life and education Trieweiler was born in Dubuque, Iowa, to George Nicholas and Anne Marie (Oastern) Trieweiler. He graduated with academic honors from Dubuque's Wahlert Catholic High School in 1966, where he was an member of the football and wrestling teams. He attended Drake University on a four-year football scholarship, distinguishing himself athletically by lettering in football, wrestling and intramural basketball. Trieweiler received a Bachelor of Arts from Drake in 1970, and a Juris Doctor from Drake University Law School in 1973. The Montana Supreme Court is the supreme court, highest court of the state court system in the U.S. state of Montana. John Warner (judge)
John Warner (born January 22, 1943) is an American attorney and judge who served as an associate justice of the Montana Supreme Court. Warner won an unopposed retention vote in 2006; he retired from the court in 2009. Warner was born and raised in Great Falls, Montana. He attended Montana State University in Missoula, from which he earned a Bachelor of Arts in history and political science in 1965. In 1967, he graduated from the University of Montana School of Law. He served as a law clerk for the Montana Supreme Court from 1967–1968, and then practiced law as a litigator for twenty years in Havre. He held numerous legal positions during this time, including chairman of the Montana Supreme Court's Commission on Uniform District Court Rules, trustee and president of the State Bar of Montana, and Havre City Attorney. Diane Barz
Diane MacDonald Barz (August 18, 1943 – May 14, 2014) was an American judge. She was the first woman to serve as a member of the Montana Supreme Court, a position she held from September 1989 to 1990. She also served as an assistant United States attorney from 1991 to 1994. Her career covered many firsts for women in Montana legal history, and she also ran the Montana Youth Court for over fifteen years, where she founded the Youth Court Conference Committee. Career Barz received her J.D. degree from University of Montana Law School in 1968.
