Terry McBride (musician)
Terry McBride (born September 16, 1958) is an American country music artist. Between 1989 and 1994, and again from 2000 to 2002, McBride was the lead vocalist and bass guitarist in the band McBride & the Ride, a country music group which recorded four studio albums and charted more than ten singles on the ''Billboard'' Hot Country Songs charts. He is also the son of 1970s country singer Dale McBride. Solo career After McBride & the Ride disbanded in 1994, he found work as a songwriter, with country duo Brooks & Dunn recording more than twenty of his songs. This figure includes the Number One hits "If You See Him/If You See Her" (recorded with Reba McEntire,) and "Play Something Country". In addition, McBride co-wrote Josh Gracin's 2005 single " Stay with Me (Brass Bed)". For his contributions as a songwriter, McBride has won 12 awards from Broadcast Music Incorporated. Taylor, Texas
Taylor is a city in Williamson County, Texas, United States. The population was 13,575 at the 2000 census; it was 15,191 at the 2010 census; it was 16,267 at the 2020 census. History In 1876, the Texas Land Company auctioned lots in anticipation of the arrival of the International-Great Northern Railroad when Taylor was founded that year. The city was named after Edward Moses Taylor, a railroad official, under the name Taylorsville, which officially became Taylor in 1892. Immigrants from Moravia and Bohemia (now the Czech Republic) and other Slavic states, as well as from Germany and Austria, helped establish the town. It soon became a busy shipping point for cattle, grain, and cotton. By 1878, the town had 1,000 residents and 32 businesses, 29 of which were destroyed by fire in 1879. ''Burnin' Up the Road'' is the debut studio album by American country music band McBride & the Ride. Released in 1990 on MCA Records, it was produced by Tony Brown and Steve Fishell. The lead-off single, "Felicia", peaked at No. 74 on the ''RPM'' country charts in Canada but did not chart in the US. Following this song was "Every Step of the Way" which failed to chart. Ronald Gene Dunn (born June 1, 1953) is an American country music singer-songwriter and record executive. Starting in 2011, Dunn has worked as a solo artist following the temporary dissolution of Brooks & Dunn.
