Terry Jones (racing Driver)
Terry Jones (born July 30, 1971) is a Canadian businessman and stock car racing team owner. He co-owns Rette Jones Racing, an ARCA Menards Series and ARCA Menards Series West team. Career In 1995, Jones formed Jones Group International, an Amherstburg, Ontario-based demolition company. The firm regularly sponsored Jones during his racing career. Jones began racing in the ARCA Re/Max Series in 2003. In 2010, Jones joined Team Gill Racing to race in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series; the move was spurred by Jones' decision to race in NASCAR, a sanctioning body that he considered "a little more professional" than ARCA. In 2014, Jones signed with Win-Tron Racing for the season opener at Daytona International Speedway. The following year, he partnered with spotter and friend Mark Rette to form Rette Jones Racing; Rette joked in 2019 that while he is the team's "sweat equity", Jones is "the money." Daytona International Speedway
Daytona International Speedway is a race track in Daytona Beach, Florida, United States. Since opening in 1959, it has been the home of the Daytona 500, the most prestigious race in NASCAR as well as its season opening event. In addition to NASCAR, the track also hosts races of ARCA, AMA Superbike, IMSA, SCCA, and Motocross. The track features multiple layouts including the primary high-speed tri-oval, a sports car course, a motorcycle course, and a karting and motorcycle flat-track. Win-Tron Racing
Win-Tron Racing (formerly known as Country Joe Racing) was an American professional stock car racing team that competed in both the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series and the ARCA Menards Series. The team merged into Truck Series team AM Racing beginning in 2021. After the team previously reduced its Truck Series operation to part-time in 2015 and 2016 due to lack of sponsorship, Win-Tron partially took over operation of Self's family-owned team starting at Bristol in August 2015. This came several months after fielding an ARCA car for Self at Daytona as a teammate to regular driver Shane Lee. The KDI Office Technology 200 was an annual 200-mile (321.869 km) NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series race held at the Dover International Speedway in Dover, Delaware. Nashville 200 (spring)
The Rackley Roofing 200 is a NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race held at Nashville Superspeedway in Gladeville, Tennessee. The race, which was previously held from 2001 to 2011, returned to the schedule in 2021 after ten years away. The event replaced a race that was held on the same date at nearby Nashville Speedway USA (also known as the Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway) from 1996 to 2000. The race had been held in August during its entire first run on the Truck Series schedule, except for 2011 when it was moved to July. The track was shut down in 2012 and as a result, the race was removed from the schedule along with the track's second race in the spring, which had been held in 2010 and 2011. The Blue-Emu Maximum Pain Relief 200 is a NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race that takes place at Martinsville Speedway in the spring. In 2020, as part of schedule realignment, the fall race became the only Truck Series race at the track as NASCAR decided to give the track one Xfinity Series race instead. This schedule change was done in a swap with Richmond Raceway, which previously had two Xfinity Series races and zero Truck Series races and would now have one Xfinity Series race and one Truck Series race (which replaced the spring race at Martinsville). In 2022, the fall Truck Series race at Martinsville was moved to the spring and there was no fall Truck Series race at the track for the first time since 2002. The Fr8Auctions 208 is a NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race held at Atlanta Motor Speedway. It was initially held from 2004 until 2012 and taken off the schedule in 2013. The race returned to the schedule in 2015 and since then has been held on the Saturday of the race weekend as a doubleheader with the track's NASCAR Xfinity Series race, the Nalley Cars 250, prior to the NASCAR Cup Series' Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500 race at the track on Sunday. History In 2016, Great Clips became the title sponsor of the race.
