Terence Graham Parry Jones (1 February 1942 – 21 January 2020) was a Welsh comedian, director, historian, actor, writer and member of the Monty Python comedy team. After graduating from Oxford University with a degree in English, Jones and writing partner Michael Palin wrote and performed for several high-profile British comedy programmes, including ''Do Not Adjust Your Set'' and ''The Frost Report'', before creating '' Monty Python's Flying Circus'' with Cambridge graduates Graham Chapman, John Cleese, and Eric Idle and American animator-filmmaker Terry Gilliam. Jones was largely responsible for the programme's innovative, surreal structure, in which sketches flowed from one to the next without the use of punch lines. Terry David Jones (June 13, 1938 - March 21, 2014) is a former politician in Ontario, Canada. He served in the Legislative Assembly of Ontario from 1975 to 1985 as a member of the Progressive Conservative Party. Background Jones was born in Toronto, and educated at the University of Toronto. He worked for his family building cottages in Muskoka. Later he established an insurance business in Streetsville, Ontario. Politics He was elected to the Ontario legislature in the 1975 provincial election, defeating New Democratic Party candidate David Busby by 385 votes in Mississauga North. In 1976, Jones chaired a commission which established the provincial drinking age at nineteen. Terry Jones (born 1945) is a British graphic designer, art director, photographer, book- and magazine-editor. He is best known as co-founder of the British, street-style magazine '' i-D'' in 1980. Early life and career Terry Jones was born on 2 September 1945 in Northampton, England. He was a student of commercial art at West of England College of Art in Bristol. During college Jones was already working on two magazines: ''Circuit'' and ''Hip Hip Bullshit Dip''. After his first two-year diploma, he was persuaded by the head of graphics Richard Hollis to continue studies, but soon after he left without a grade in solidarity to Hollis who had resigned due to a lack of support from the school. Terry Jones, nicknamed Large or Jonesy, (born June 25, 1948) is a Canadian journalist and author based in Edmonton, Alberta. He is currently a sports columnist with the ''Edmonton Sun''. Jones was born in Lacombe, Alberta in 1948. He began his sports journalism career when he was in Grade 7 when he wrote sports stories for the ''Lacombe Globe''. He had a syndicated sports column by the time he was in Grade 9, on high school football, published in rural Alberta newspapers. Point of Grace is an all-female contemporary Christian music vocal group. The current trio consists of Shelley Breen, Denise Jones, and Leigh Cappillino. The group started out as a quartet in 1991, with original members Breen and Jones, as well as Terry Jones and Heather Payne. Terry Jones left in November 2003 to spend more time with her family after the birth of her third child, with Cappillino joining in March 2004 for their 2004 release ''I Choose You''.
