Terry Ahola
Terry Ahola is a former member of the U.S. Ski Team. A native of Gladstone, Michigan, he spent three seasons on the U.S. Ski Team from 1982-84 before having his career shortened by a serious knee injury.http://upshf.com/news/newsrel.php?inkey=000003&h=000010 Ahola competed on the Europa Cub/World Cup series before joining the North American Pro Tour in 1984. He was named selected as Western Rookie of the Year in 1984. He remained on the pro tour until 1991. Ahola later joined the Legends of Skiing at Vail. He is considered a “valued ambassador of the sport” of skiing and often represents the U.S. Ski Team at charity events throughout the United States. Gladstone, Michigan
Gladstone is a city in Delta County in the Upper Peninsula of the U.S. state of Michigan. First settled in 1877, Gladstone's original name was Minnewasca. The population was 4,973 at the 2010 census. U.S. Highways 2 and 41 run concurrently through the city, connecting with Escanaba, nine miles (14 km) to the south. US 41 runs north to Marquette and US 2 runs east to Manistique and St. Ignace. Vail is a home rule municipality in Eagle County, Colorado, United States. The population of the town was 4,835 in 2020. Home to Vail Ski Resort, the largest ski mountain in Colorado, the town is known for its hotels, dining, and for the numerous events the city hosts annually, such as the Vail Film Festival, Vail Resorts Snow Days, and Bravo! Ludington State Park is a public recreation area located two miles north of Ludington, Michigan, occupying between the shores of Lake Michigan and Hamlin Lake.
