Machh Attack
On 3 January 2021, a group of Islamic State (IS) militants killed 11 Hazara coal miners after being kidnapped in Machh, Balochistan, Pakistan. The attack The miners were on their way to work when the gunmen ambushed and dragged them into the nearby mountains. All 11 miners were blindfolded and had their hands tied behind their backs before having their throats slit. Video of the miners' murders shows the dead men strewn out on the floor of a village hut. The victims were members of the minority Shia community. Protests Not long after the attack, Hazaras blocked roads and burned tires in Quetta, the capital of Balochistan province. They gathered to protest the terror attacks on them and to demonstrate their minority rights. Gwadar Suicide Attack
On 20 August 2021, a suicide attack on a convoy of Chinese workers on the Gwadar Expressway project, as a result two local children were killed and three were injured in southwestern Pakistan. The bombing The Pakistan interior ministry said that the attack took place on an expressway under construction in the Nagori ward area, when three vehicles were taking Chinese citizens under military and police surveillance. As the convoy approached the fishermen's colony on the East Bay Expressway, a young boy came out and ran to hit the vehicles. The attacker blew themselves up 15 to 20 meters away from the convoy when plainclothes army personnel rushed and stop the attacker. The injured Chinese national was shifted to Gwadar Hospital where his condition was out of danger. Harnai
Harnai ( ps, هرنای, ur, ) is the capital of Harnai District in the Balochistan province of Pakistan. It was previously in Sibi District. It is located in the northeast of Balochistan province. The town is surrounded by the cities Ziarat, Loralai and the state capital, Quetta. The population is predominantly Pashtun followed by Baloch. The language spoken in the town is Wanetsi or Tareeno mainly spoken by Spin Tareen's, a unique and archaic dialect of Pashto. There is also a thinly populated tribe in the town named Wanechi (not to be confused with Wanetsi language). The other name of the Language is Tareeno. South Waziristan District ( ps, سويلي وزیرستان ولسوالۍ, ur, ) was a district in Dera Ismail Khan Division of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa before splitting in to Lower South Waziristan District and Upper South Waziristan District and the southern part of Waziristan, a mountainous region of northwest Pakistan, that covers some 11,585 km2 (4,473 mi²). Waziristan comprises the area west and southwest of Peshawar between the Tochi River to the north and the Gomal River to the south. Frontier Corps Balochistan (South)
The Frontier Corps Balochistan (South) ( ur, , reporting name: FCB(S)), is a group of paramilitary forces of Pakistan, operating in the southwestern part of the province of Balochistan, to overseeing the country's borders with Afghanistan and Iran and assist with maintaining law and order. It is one of four Frontier Corps with the others being: FC Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (North) and FC Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (South) stationed in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, and FC Balochistan (North) stationed in the northern part of Balochistan province. 2021 Quetta Suicide Attack
On 5 September 2021, in Quetta, a terrorist on a motorcycle targeted a check post on Mastung Road, killing 4 FC personnel and injuring 20 others. The bombing Police said the attack was carried out by a suicide bomber who drove his motorbike packed with six kilograms of explosives into a convoy of a law enforcement agency vehicle. Police and law enforcement agencies immediately began an investigation at the scene of the blast, led by a bomb squad. Emergency services arrived on the scene shortly after the explosion. According to police officials, the injured were shifted to Combined Military Hospital (CMH) and Sheikh Khalifah Bin Zayyad Hospital for medical treatment. 26 August 2021 Balochistan Attacks
On 26 August 2021, four security personnel were killed and six others were injured in attacks by terrorist in Balochistan's Ziarat and Panjgur districts. Ziarat explosion The Levies Force had received reports of the abduction of four workers working on the Mangi Dam. A Levies Force team launched a search operation to rescue the workers. However, a Levies officer hit a landmine while chasing the kidnappers' vehicle. The blast killed three Levies and injured three others in the other vehicle. The kidnappers released the two workers when Levies began chasing them.
