Nattefrost
Roger Rasmussen, better known by the stage name Nattefrost, is a Norwegian musician, best known for being the vocalist and a founding member of black metal band Carpathian Forest. He also fronts the side projects World Destroyer and Kreft, and since 2003 also has a solo project of his own. Biography Rasmussen was born in Sandnes, Rogaland County, Norway. His first musical ventures were with the black metal band The Childmolesters, which he founded in 1990 alongside his future Carpathian Forest bandmate Johnny "Nordavind" Krøvel. The band was very short-lived, ending in the same year; from its demise arose Enthrone, which changed its name to Carpathian Forest in 1992. During Carpathian Forest's first years of existence, Nattefrost used the pseudonym Lord Nosferatu; he would not be known as "Nattefrost" (Norwegian for "Night frost") until 1995, when the band released its first EP, ''Through Chasm, Caves and Titan Woods''. Black metal is an extreme metal, extreme subgenre of heavy metal music. Common traits include Tempo#Beats per minute, fast tempos, a Screaming (music)#Black metal, shrieking vocal style, heavily distorted Electric guitar, guitars played with tremolo picking, raw (Lo-fi music, lo-fi) recording, unconventional song structures, and an emphasis on atmosphere. Season Of Mist
Season of Mist is an independent record label and record distributor with subsidiaries in France and the United States. The record label was founded in 1996 by Michael S. Berberian in Marseille, France. From the start releasing black metal, pagan metal, and death metal records, the label moved on to releasing albums of avant-garde metal, gothic metal and punk bands as well. The label has two offices, one in Marseille, France and one in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Music From the beginning, Season of Mist focused on releasing more extreme metal records by stylistically diverse bands like Oxiplegatz, Bethzaida and Kampfar. Vrangsinn (Birthname Daniel Salte) is a Norwegian musician, best known as the bassist of Carpathian Forest (1999–2014/2019–present). Biography Daniel Vrangsinn is a Norwegian musician, poet, video, and graphics artist. He is most known for his bizarre stage stunts while performing live with Norwegian black metal band Carpathian Forest. He also does other artforms like concrete art, jewelry, steel crosses, and pentagrams. Vrangsinn is the president of Misantrof ANTIRecords, a non-profit organization he established in 2007. Through this organization, he releases his own music and many other bands freely to the general public with a creative commons license. A dirge ( la, dirige, naenia) is a somber song or lament expressing mourning or grief, such as would be appropriate for performance at a funeral.
