''Terroreign (Apocalyptic Armageddon Command)'' is the sixth studio album by Singaporean black metal band Impiety, released in 2009 through Agonia Records. The album is made available as regular jewel case, limited edition digipak with sticker and vinyl. The latter is pressed to 750 limited copies; 100 on white, 400 on regular black LP and the rest 250 copies as picture disc. All vinyl version comes with an A3 landscape poster of Impiety, with some bearing Shyaithan's signature. Both Intro and Outro are composed and performed by Nuclear Holocausto Vengeance of Beherit. Impiety (band)
Impiety is a Singaporean black metal band, formed in early 1990 by Shyaithan (vocals/guitar/bass) and drummer Necro-Angelfornicator. They are notable for being one of the first metal, extreme metal bands to emerge from Singapore. Biography Impiety was originally formed in January 1990 by guitarist/bassist/vocalist Shyaithan and drummer Necro-Angelfornicator, originally heavily influenced by the likes of Hellhammer, Sarcófago, Possessed, Destruction, Bathory, Angelcorpse and early Morbid Angel. The two recorded a rehearsal demo/promo in early 1991, but this was never officially released. After a few line-up changes, the band (now consisting of Shyaithan with guitarist Xxxul and drummer Iblyss) recorded its first official demo, in the form of 1992's ''Ceremonial Necrochrist Redesecration'', which made a name for the band amongst underground tape-traders. Picture Disc
Picture discs are gramophone (phonograph) records that show images on their playing surface, rather than being of plain black or colored vinyl. Collectors traditionally reserve the term picture disc for records with graphics that extend at least partly into the actual playable grooved area, distinguishing them from picture label discs, which have a specially illustrated and sometimes very large label, and picture back discs, which are illustrated on one unplayable side only. Christophe Szpajdel (; born 29 September 1970) is a Belgian-born international calligraphist and illustrator, principally known for designing band logos. Life Szpajdel was born on 29 September 1970 in Gembloux, Namur, Belgium, and grew up in Louvain-la-Neuve, Walloon Brabant, Belgium. His parents are of Polish origin but immigrated to Belgium before he was born. He grew up speaking Polish and French, and eventually learned English, German, Dutch, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish. Szpajdel began drawing at the age of 3 when he drew a praying mantis while vacationing with his parents in the south of France. Morbid was a Swedish thrash metal band from Stockholm that formed in 1986.''Swedish Death Metal'', p. 71. Biography Morbid was formed in Stockholm at the end of 1986. With Per "Dead" Ohlin as the group's founder and leader, there was a number of members before the band settled on the line-up of John "John Lennart" Hagström, "TG" on guitars, Jens Näsström on bass and Lars-Göran Petrov on drums. Per Yngve "Pelle" Ohlin (16 January 1969 – 8 April 1991), better known by his stage name Dead, was a Swedish metal musician who was best known as the lead vocalist and lyricist of the Norwegian black metal band Mayhem from 1988 until his death in 1991. Prior to Mayhem, he also performed as vocalist in the death/thrash band Morbid. Dead was a popular figure of the Norwegian black metal scene, and his legacy persists in the genre to this day. Beherit (band)
Beherit is a black metal band from Finland. The band was formed in 1989 by Nuclear Holocausto Vengeance (Marko Laiho), Black Jesus (Arjo Wennström) and Sodomatic Slaughter (Jari Pirinen), with the purpose of performing "the most primitive, savage, hell-obsessed black metal imaginable". "Beherit" is the Syriac word for Satan. Through the uncommercial nature of their music, visuals, and live performances, the band quickly attracted a cult following. Besides the "raw" sound, the band's music is noted for its avant-garde side and emphasis on atmosphere. Beherit are now regarded as a pioneer in their genre. As a full band, Beherit released one full-length album and many demos and compilations of raw and minimalistic black metal.
