Territory Generation
Territory Generation is a government owned corporation of the Northern Territory (Australia), established on 1 July 2014. It had previously been an operational business unit of Power and Water Corporation. Territory Generation owns and operates eight power stations in the Northern Territory. Territory Generation traces its history back to the first power stations in the Northern Territory which were built in 1934 in Darwin and 1937 in Alice Springs. Ron Goodin Power Station
Ron Goodin Power Station is a power station in Alice Springs in the southern part of the Northern Territory of Australia. It was commissioned in 1973 by the Northern Territory government. Kings Canyon (Northern Territory)
Kings Canyon is a canyon in the Northern Territory of Australia located at the western end of the George Gill Range about southwest of Alice Springs and about south of Darwin within the Watarrka National Park. Description The walls of Kings Canyon are over 100 metres high, with Kings Creek at the bottom. Part of the gorge is a sacred Aboriginal site and visitors are discouraged from leaving the walking tracks. Three walks exist at Kings Canyon. The two km (return) and approximately one-hour Kings Creek Walk traces the bottom of the gorge. At the end of the walk is a platform, with views of the canyon walls above. The six km (loop) Kings Canyon Rim Walk traces the top of the canyon and takes three to four hours to complete. Tennant Creek ( wrm, Jurnkkurakurr) is town located in the Northern Territory of Australia. It is the seventh largest town in the Northern Territory, and is located on the Stuart Highway, just south of the intersection with the western terminus of the Barkly Highway. Weddell Power Station
Weddell Power Station is a 129 MW natural gas-fired power station in the Northern Territory, located at Wickham, south-east of the Territory capital Darwin. Owned and operated by Territory Generation, it is the second largest power station in the Territory and supplies the Darwin-Katherine Interconnected System.
