Ross Terrill
Ross Terrill (b. 1938 Melbourne) is an Australian-born American political scientist and historian. He specializes in the history of China, especially the history of the People's Republic of China. He has made several public appearances in order to testify in front of the United States Congress, and he has also written numerous articles and nine books. For many years he has been a research associate at Harvard's Fairbank Center for Chinese Studies, and recently, he was a visiting professor at the University of Texas at Austin as well as a visiting professor at Monash University in Australia. Early life Ross Terrill was born in Melbourne, Australia in 1938 to Miriel (Lloyd) Terrill and Frank Gregston. Terrill attended Wesley College in Melbourne, where he became Dux in 1956. Chris Terrill
Chris Terrill is a British anthropologist, adventurer, broadcaster, author and filmmaker. Biography Born in Brighton, Sussex, in 1952, Terrill attended Brighton College 1965–1970, and then went to Durham University, where he gained a joint-honours degree in Geography and Anthropology. Between 1976 and 1977 he lived with the remote Acholi Tribe of Southern Sudan where he carried out doctoral research on the impact of civil war on the tribal society before taking up the post of head of geography at Rendcomb College in Gloucestershire. In 1983, he left teaching to become a full-time professional anthropologist working for the International Disaster Institute and the UN in Geneva and throughout the famine-gripped and war-ravaged areas of Africa. Craig Terrill
Craig Adam Terrill (born June 27, 1980) is a former National Football League (NFL) defensive tackle who played for the Seattle Seahawks. In 88 career games, Terrill had 103 combined tackles, with eight sacks, three fumble recoveries, and one touchdown. He played college football at Purdue. He was drafted by the Seattle Seahawks in the sixth round of the 2004 NFL Draft. He blocked eight field goals in his career, tied for the Seahawks team record. Richard Terrill is an American author and jazz musician who plays with the Larry McDonough Quartet. Career Terrill's work as a writer includes three collections of poems: ''What Falls Away Is Always: Poems and Conversations'', ''Almost Dark'' and ''Coming Late to Rachmaninoff,'' a winner of the Minnesota Book Award. He has also written two nonfiction books: ''Fakebook: Improvisations on a Journey Back to Jazz'' and ''Saturday Night in Baoding: A China Memoir'', winner of the Associated Writing Programs Award for nonfiction. Terrill Shaw (born February 4, 1976) is a former American football wide receiver who played nine seasons in the Arena Football League with the Buffalo Destroyers, Grand Rapids Rampage, Las Vegas Gladiators, Philadelphia Soul, Dallas Desperados and Tampa Bay Storm. Terrill Hanks (born December 7, 1995) is an American football linebacker who is a free agent. He played college football at New Mexico State. Early years Hanks grew up in Miami Gardens, Florida close to Hard Rock Stadium and was a fan of the Miami Dolphins in his childhood.
