Terrigal Sharks
The Terrigal Sharks are an Australian youth rugby league football club based in the suburbs of Terrigal and Wamberal on the Central Coast of NSW. They have numerous teams competing in competitions run by the Central Coast Division of Country Rugby League, from U/6s through to First Grade. The Sharks' current home grounds are Duffys Road Oval (Seniors) and Brendan Franklin Oval (Juniors). Their traditional colours are sky blue, black and white. History The then village of Terrigal entered teams in local rugby league competitions in 1921 and 1922, and in Second Grade only, in 1931 and 1932. The current club was established in 1975, when Terrigal-Wamberal fielded teams in six of eight 'Schoolboys' competitions: Under 8s, 9s, 10s, 12s, 13s and 14s. Central Coast Division Of Country Rugby League
The Central Coast Division of Country Rugby League is a rugby league competition based on the Central Coast of New South Wales between Sydney and Newcastle. It is currently ran by Terrigal Junior and longtime volunteer Ben Spackman he has been president for both Terrigal junior and senior clubs and has coached multiple teams throughout his years at the club. Spackman has been running the central coast competition for multiple years now and has made significant changes to the central coast competitions. It was founded in 1947 as a junior competition for the Newcastle club, Lakes United. In 1967, it was upgraded again to full membership of the Country Rugby League as Group 12. In 1981, it was renamed Central Coast Division. The division covers the entire region of the Central Coast from Woy Woy and Umina in the south up to Budgewoi and Gwandalan in the north. Wests Tigers
The Wests Tigers are an Australian professional Rugby league, rugby league football team, based in the Inner West and South West Sydney. They have competed in the National Rugby League since being formed at the end of the 1999 NRL season as a joint-venture club between the Balmain Tigers and the Western Suburbs Magpies. The Wests Tigers started playing in the 2000 NRL season and they won their maiden premiership in 2005 NRL season, 2005. It is one of only two clubs (the other being the Newcastle Knights) that has never lost a Grand Final in which it has participated. Melbourne Storm
The Melbourne Storm are a rugby league club based in Melbourne, Victoria in Australia that participates in the National Rugby League. The first fully professional rugby league team based in the state, the Storm entered the competition in 1998. The Storm were originally a Super League initiative, created in 1997 during the Super League war, however, following the Super League collapse, the team became a part of the newly formed, united competition. The club play their home games at AAMI Park. The Storm have won four premierships since their inception, in 1999, 2012, 2017 and 2020, and have contested several more grand finals, but were stripped of the 2007 and 2009 premierships following salary cap breaches. St George Illawarra Dragons
The St. George Illawarra Dragons is an Australian professional rugby league football club, representing both the Illawarra and St George regions of New South Wales. The club has competed in the National Rugby League since 1999 after a joint-venture was formed between the St. George Dragons (est. 1921) and the Illawarra Steelers (est. 1982). They officially formed as the game's first joint-venture club on 23 September 1998 and it remains the only inter-city team in the NRL.
