Terran Petteway
Terran Petteway (born October 8, 1992) is an American professional basketball player for Hapoel Eilat of the Israeli Basketball Premier League. He played college basketball for Texas Tech University and the University of Nebraska. Petteway led the Big Ten Conference in scoring during the 2013–14 season. High school career As a high school senior at Ball High School, Petteway was signed by Pat Knight, however Knight was fired on March 7, 2011 from his role as head coach of the Texas Tech Red Raiders basketball team before Petteway even suited up for the Red Raiders. Petteway elected to maintain his commitment to Texas Tech after Billy Gillispie was hired as the Red Raiders new head coach on March 20, 2011. Small forwards are typically shorter, quicker, and leaner than power forwards and centers but taller, larger, and stronger than either of the guard positions. Andre Smith (basketball, Born 1958)
Andre Smith (July 24, 1958 – March 4, 2023) was an American college basketball player for the Nebraska Cornhuskers in the late 1970s and early 1980s. A native of Chicago, Illinois, Smith played at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln as an undersized center at 6'7". Between 1977–78 and 1980–81, Smith scored 1,717 points in 114 games for a career average of 15.1 points per game. At the time of his graduation, he was second on the all-time Cornhuskers scoring list. Smith is still found in the top 10 on many other school records. During his junior and senior years he was named a First Team All-Big 8 Conference member, and at the conclusion of his final season was named the Big 8 Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Year. The Colorado State Rams men's basketball team represents Colorado State University, located in Fort Collins, in the U.S. state of Colorado, in NCAA Division I basketball competition. They play their home games at the Moby Arena and are members of the Mountain West Conference. They are led by head coach Niko Medved. Tim Miles
Timothy Sean Miles (born August 20, 1966) is an American college basketball coach who is the current head coach of the San Jose State Spartans men's basketball team. Miles previously served as the head coach of North Dakota State University, Colorado State University and the University of Nebraska. Miles is a graduate of the University of Mary. The 2011–12 Big 12 Conference men's basketball season began with practices on October 15, 2011 and ended with the Big 12 Tournament, won by Missouri on March 10, 2012 at the Sprint Center in Kansas City. ''Lubbock Avalanche-Journal'' is a newspaper based in Lubbock, Texas, United States. It is owned by Gannett. History ''The Lubbock Avalanche'' was founded in 1900 by John James Dillard and Thad Tubbs. According to Dillard, the name "Avalanche" was chosen due to his desire that the newspaper surprise the citizens of Lubbock. The newspaper was sold to James Lorenzo Dow in 1908. Billy Gillispie
Billy Clyde Gillispie ( ; born November 7, 1959), also known by his initials BCG and Billy Clyde, is an American college basketball and current men's basketball coach at Tarleton State. Gillispie had previously been head coach at UTEP, Texas A&M, Kentucky, and Texas Tech. After leading both UTEP and Texas A&M to postseason appearances one year after poor seasons, Gillispie became the only college basketball coach to be in charge of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) program with the biggest turnaround in two consecutive seasons.
