Terminal (American Band)
Terminal was an American rock band from Mansfield, Texas. History Formation and ''How the Lonely Keep'' Formed in 1998 under the name Letter Twelve, the group signed to Tooth & Nail Records in 2004 and changed its name. The band's first, and only, release under this name was entitled ''How the Lonely Keep'', and in 2005 they went on tour with labelmates Anberlin. The record hit No. 39 on the ''Billboard'' Top Christian Albums chart in 2005. Matthew Tsai of Absolute Punk called the record "one of the great emo releases of the 00's". Melodic.net compared the group to Anberlin, Jimmy Eat World and Third Eye Blind. Shortly after the release of the album, all of the band's members except for lead singer Travis Bryant departed the group during their tour with The Spill Canvas and Rufio; Bryant toured with Terminal as a solo act for the remainder of the tour. Mansfield is a suburban city in the U.S. state of Texas, and is part of the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex area. The city is located mostly in Tarrant county, with small parts in Ellis and Johnson counties. Its location is approximately 30 miles from Dallas and 20 miles from Fort Worth, and is adjacent to Arlington. As of the 2010 census, the population was 56,368, up from 28,031 in 2000. As Cities Burn is an American post-hardcore band from Mandeville, Louisiana, that formed in 2002 and has released four studio albums. Their debut, ''Son, I Loved You at Your Darkest'', was released in 2005. Two years later, they released ''Come Now Sleep''. Alive in Wild Paint (formerly known as Goodbye Tomorrow) was an indie rock band from Phoenix, Arizona, formed in 2003. Since early 2009, they have been on a silent hiatus. Biography Since the group's original formation in 2003, the band's line-up underwent much change. Minus Matt Gilbert, David Roat was added to the line-up in 2004 and Travis Bryant was added in 2006 and came almost directly from Tooth and Nail Records' act, Terminal. Matt Grabe was also added in 2006 and Austin Wilson was the latest addition to the band in 2007. The band signed to Equal Vision Records, through which they first released a 3 song self-titled EP under the name Goodbye Tomorrow. Oh, Sleeper is an American metalcore band from Fort Worth, Texas that formed in 2006 with former members of Terminal. In over a decade's span, Oh, Sleeper has released four full-length albums, two EPs, and toured worldwide as an opening act. Yesterdays Rising was an American post-hardcore band from Murrieta, California, in Riverside County, United States. History Yesterdays Rising formed in 2002 and self-released their first EP (Ship of Relations) in 2003. The group signed to Fearless Records in 2004 and released a second EP (When We Speak, We Breathe) following it up with a run on the Vans Warped Tour 2004. With all of them still attending high school, they were said to have been one of the youngest bands to ever travel with the Warped Tour. The Receiving End of Sirens was an American rock band from Belchertown, Massachusetts, United States. Formed in 2003, the band broke up in 2008 then briefly reunited in 2010. On February 18, 2020, the band announced a brief reunion tour. Overview The band played on the 2005 Warped Tour and has toured with such acts as Gatsbys American Dream, A Wilhelm Scream, Thirty Seconds to Mars, Funeral for a Friend, Saves the Day, Senses Fail, Thrice, and New Found Glory. The band's first headlining tour, "The New Hope Tour," began on March 31, 2006.
