Teresita Quintos Deles
Teresita "Ging" Quintos Deles is a Filipina feminist, peace advocate, and government official best known for having been the Philippine government's Presidential Adviser on the Peace Process (OPAPP) from 2003–2005 and 2010 to 2016. Deles began her career as a teacher. She then became an advocate for women's rights and worked on addressing poverty issues. In 2003 she became the first woman appointed as ''Presidential Adviser on the Peace Process'', although Haydee Yorac had served in OPAPP's predecessor, the National Unification Council. Deles served as Presidential Adviser on the Peace Process through 2005 and again from 2010 through 2016. While she was serving in that capacity, the Comprehensive Agreement on the Bangsamoro (CAB) was signed in 2014. Nonviolence is the personal practice of not causing harm to others under any condition. It may come from the belief that hurting people, animals and/or the environment is unnecessary to achieve an outcome and it may refer to a general philosophy of abstention from violence. It may be based on moral, religious or spiritual principles, or the reasons for it may be strategic or pragmatic. Marvic Mario Victor Famorca Leonen (born December 29, 1962) is the Senior associate justice of the Supreme Court of the Philippines since May 14, 2022 upon the retirement of Senior Associate Justice Estela Perlas-Bernabe. The Comprehensive Agreement on Bangsamoro (CAB) is a final peace agreement signed between the Government of the Philippines and the Moro Islamic Liberation Front on March 27, 2014 at the Malacañang Palace in Manila. Under the agreement, the Islamic separatists would turn over their firearms to a third party, which would be selected by the rebels and the Philippine government. The MILF agreed to decommission its armed wing, the Bangsamoro Islamic Armed Forces (BIAF). In return, the government would establish an autonomous Bangsamoro. Haydee Bofill Yorac (; March 4, 1941 — September 12, 2005) was a Filipina public servant, law professor and politician. Early life Yorac was born on March 4, 1941, in the municipality of Saravia (now E. B. Magalona), Negros Occidental. She earned a Bachelor of Laws from the University of the Philippines Diliman in 1962. She placed 8th in the 1962 Philippine Bar Examinations, with an 86.95% rating.
