Teresa Seneke
Teresa Seneke (1848 – November 1875) was an Italian composer who is best known for her opera ''Le Due Amiche'' (''The Two Friends''). Biography Seneke was born in Chieti and died at age 27 in Rome. Little is known about her education or personal life. ''Le Due Amiche'' premiered in Rome at the Teatro Argentina in 1869, when Seneke was only 21. In addition to this opera, she composed vocal, piano, and dance music. Her compositions were originally published by Olivieri and more recently by Alfred Music. Province Of Chieti
The province of Chieti ( it, provincia di Chieti; Abruzzese: ') is a province in the Abruzzo region of Italy. Its provincial capital is the city Chieti, which has a population of 50,770 inhabitants. The province has a total population of 387,649 inhabitants and spans an area of . It is divided into 104 ''comuni'' (''comune'') and the provincial president is Mario Pupillo. Chieti's cathedral was first constructed during the 9th century but was reconstructed during the 13th century. The Teatro Argentina (directly translating to "Theatre Argentina") is an opera house and Theater (structure), theatre located in Largo di Torre Argentina, a square in Rome, Italy. One of the oldest theatres in Rome, it was constructed in 1731 and inaugurated on 31 January 1732Plantamura, 10 with ''Berenice'' by Domenico Sarro.
