Terband
Terband ( fry, Terbant) is a village in Heerenveen in the province of Friesland, the Netherlands. It had a population of around 270 in January 2017. History The village was first mentioned in 1315 as Bant, and means "near the region". In 1315, a chapel was built in the village. In 1840, it was home to 228 people. In 1843, a Dutch Reformed church was built. Before 1934, Terband was part of the Aengwirden Aengwirden is a former municipality in the Dutch province of Friesland. It covered the area around the village of Tjalleberd. It existed until July 1, 1934. The area of the former municipality is now a part of the municipality of Heerenveen Hee ... municipality. Heerenveen
Heerenveen (, fry, It Hearrenfean ) is a town and municipality in the province of Friesland (Fryslân), in the Northern Netherlands. In 2021, the town had a population of 29,790 (1 January) while the municipality had a population 50,859 (1 July). History The town was established in 1551 by three lords as a location for the purpose of digging peat which was used for fuel, hence the name (''heer'' is "lord", ''veen'' is "peat"). Heerenveen was not one of the traditional eleven cities in Friesland (Fryslân) as it did not have so-called city rights. However, it is now one of the larger municipalities of the province. The windmill ''Welgelegen'' or ''Tjepkema's Molen'' is the only survivor of seventeen which have stood in Heerenveen. A7 Motorway (Netherlands)
The A7 motorway is a motorway in the Netherlands connecting Zaandam, via the Afsluitdijk, Sneek and Groningen to the German border near Bad Nieuweschans. The entire road is part of the European route E22, with exception of the first kilometer, between the terminus in Zaandam and the interchange Zaandam. The total length is 236 km. A32 Motorway (Netherlands)
The A32 motorway is a motorway in the Netherlands connecting Meppel, via Heerenveen to Leeuwarden. No part of the motorway is subject to a European route. Route description Two aqueducts are located on the motorway's route: the Leppa-Akwadukt near Akkrum and the Akwadukt mid-Fryslân near Grou.
