Teofipol Raion ( uk, Теофіпольський район, ) was one of the 20 administrative raions (a Raions of Ukraine, ''district'') of Khmelnytskyi Oblast in western Ukraine. Its Administrative centre, administrative center was located in the urban-type settlement of Teofipol. Its population was 32,247 as of the Ukrainian Census (2001), 2001 Ukrainian Census. The raion was abolished on 18 July 2020 as part of the administrative reform of Ukraine, which reduced the number of raions of Khmelnytskyi Oblast to three. The area of Teofipol Raion was merged into Khmelnytskyi Raion. Raions of Ukraine (often translated as "districts"; Ukrainian: ра́йон, tr. ''raion''; plural: райо́ни, tr. ''raiony'') are the second level of administrative division in Ukraine, below the oblast. Sluch River (Ukraine)
The Sluch or Southern Sluch (, , , ) is a river, a right tributary of the Horyn, which flows through Ukraine. It has a length of 451 km and a drainage basin of 13,800 km2. The Sluch river takes its source in the Ukrainian province of Khmelnytskyi, and then flows through the Zhytomyr and Rivne oblasts, and flows briefly along the Ukrainian-Belarusian border before finally emptying into the Horyn. Cities and towns located on the Sluch river include: Zviahel, Berezne, and Sarny. A hromada ( uk, територіальна громада, lit=territorial community, translit=terytorialna hromada) is a basic unit of administrative division in Ukraine, similar to a municipality.
