Teofil Adamecki
Teofil Adamecki (1886 in Bielsko-Biała – 1969) was a Polish lawyer and activist. He graduated in law at Vienna University. Adamecki was a member of Rada Narodowa Księstwa Cieszyńskiego (National Council of the Duchy of Cieszyn), a local Polish self-government council set to temporarily manage the area before the decision concerning the future of Cieszyn Silesia. Later he became director the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Chamber of Izba Welny in Bielsko. From 1933 to 1939 Adamecki was president of the Bielsko branch of the Polish Tourist Association. Marklowice
Marklowice is a village in Wodzisław County, Silesian Voivodeship, in southern Poland. It is the seat of the gmina (administrative district) called Gmina Marklowice. It lies approximately east of Wodzisław Śląski and south-west of the regional capital Katowice. Between 1975 and 1994 Marklowice was part of the town Wodzisław Śląski. In 2005 the village had a population of 5,180. The football club Polonia Marklowice, founded in 1922, plays in the village. Bielsko
Bielsko (german: Bielitz, cs, Bílsko) was until 1950 an independent town situated in Cieszyn Silesia, Poland. In 1951 it was joined with Biała Krakowska to form the new town of Bielsko-Biała. Bielsko constitutes the western part of that town. Bielsko was founded by the Cieszyn Piast dukes in the late 13th century on the grounds of village later called Stare Bielsko (''Old Bielsko''), on the Biała River. It was first mentioned in a written document in 1312. Originally settled by Germans, it became the largest German-language center (''Deutsche Sprachinsel Bielitz'') in the Duchy of Teschen, and remained so until the end of World War II.
