State Route 62 (SR 62) is a west-to-east highway in the U.S. state of Tennessee. It is designated as a primary route except for the short segment between SR 169 and its eastern terminus, which is secondary. State Route 62 begins in Putnam County at State Route 84; it ends in Knox County at U.S. Route 441/ State Route 33. Deer Lodge, Tennessee
Deer Lodge is an unincorporated community in Morgan County, Tennessee, United States. It is located along Tennessee State Route 329 west-southwest of Sunbright. Deer Lodge has a post office with ZIP code 37726, which opened on April 16, 1886. The community was established as a health resort in the 1880s by Rugby colonist Abner Ross. History Deer Lodge was originally situated around a tract of land acquired by the Davidson family in the early 1800s. In 1845, James Davidson built a grist mill and saw mill on the land. In 1876, Peter Fox purchased the land and attempted to establish a sheep ranch, but was unsuccessful. In 1884, Fox sold the land to Abner Ross, a former Rugby colonist. Ross, who had been the proprietor of Rugby's Tabard Inn, decided to convert the tract into a mountain resort. Route description SR 329 begins at a Y-intersection with SR 62. Chestnut Ridge, Tennessee
The chestnuts are the deciduous trees and shrubs in the genus ''Castanea'', in the beech family Fagaceae. They are native to temperate regions of the Northern Hemisphere. The name also refers to the edible nuts they produce. The unrelated horse chestnuts (genus ''Aesculus'') are not true chestnuts, but are named for producing nuts of similar appearance that are mildly poisonous to humans. State Route 28 (SR 28) is a state highway in the state of Tennessee, traversing the state in a north–south axis from south of Jasper to the Kentucky state line at Static. Route description Marion County SR 28 begins just south of Jasper at an interchange with I-24/ SR 27 (Exit 155) in Marion County. It then goes north as a 4-lane divided highway to have an interchange with US 41/US 64/US 72/ SR 2, where it becomes concurrent with US 41, in Jasper before bypassing downtown to the east and continuing north and narrowing to a 2-lane.
