Tennessee State Route 275
State Route 275 (SR 275) is a long east-west state highway in eastern Lincoln County, Tennessee, connecting Park City with Flintville via Lincoln and Vanntown. Despite its east-west designation, it runs almost entirely north-south between Vanntown and US 64. Route description SR 275 begins in Park City at an intersection with US 231/US 431 ( SR 10). It heads east as Lincoln Road through farmland and rural areas to pass through the community of Lincoln. The highway then becomes Vanntown Road as it crosses a bridge over the Flint River and continue east through rural areas to the Vanntown community, where it turns north along N Vanntown School Road. SR 275 leaves Vanntown and turns northeast along Oliver Smith Road to cross over the Flint River again to pass through the community of Flintville. Lincoln County, Tennessee
Lincoln County is a county located in the south central part of the U.S. state of Tennessee. As of the 2020 census, the population was 35,319. Its county seat and largest city is Fayetteville. The county is named for Major General Benjamin Lincoln, an officer in the American Revolutionary War. History Lincoln County was created in 1809 from parts of Bedford County. The land occupied by the county was part of a land cession obtained from the Cherokee and Chickasaw in 1806. The Lincoln County Process, used in the distillation of Tennessee whiskey, is named for this county, as the Jack Daniel Distillery was originally located there. However, a subsequent redrawing of county lines resulted in the establishment of adjacent Moore County, which includes the location of the distillery. State Route 10 (SR 10) is a south–north route from the Alabama state line in Lincoln County, Tennessee to the Kentucky state line in Macon County. For most of the highway's length, it is an unsigned designation for US 231. Route description Alabama to Murfreesboro SR 10 begins at the Alabama state line in Lincoln County, just north of Hazel Green, Alabama, where it is the unsigned companion route of US 231/ US 431. The highway then goes north through farmland and countryside and has an intersection with SR 275 before going through Park City and crossing a ridge into Fayetteville. Once in Fayetteville, it has a Y-intersection with SR 110 before going through a major business and coming to an intersection with US 64 Bypass (US 64 Byp.). Flint River (Alabama)
The Flint River, long and draining an area of , is a tributary to the Tennessee River. The river rises in Lincoln County, Tennessee, and flows south into Madison County, Alabama, where most of the river's watershed (342 sq. mi.) is located. The land within this watershed is predominantly agricultural and has experienced significant recent residential growth from the city of Huntsville. The U.S. Geological Survey National Water-Quality Assessment Program is currently investigating water quality in the lower Tennessee River basin with several monitoring activities targeted in the Flint River Basin. State Route 15 (SR 15) is a west–east route from Memphis to Monteagle. For much of its route it has an unsigned concurrency with U.S. Route 64. SR 15 does travel through the southern part of all 3 Grand Divisions of the state: West Tennessee, Middle Tennessee, and East Tennessee. Route description Shelby County SR 15 begins as a secondary highway in Shelby County in Northern Memphis at an interchange with SR 14 (Austin Peay Highway). It proceeds east to Bartlett and intersects US 70/US 79/US 64/ SR 1, where it becomes the unsigned companion route of US 64 and becomes a primary highway. US 64/SR 15 then intersect SR 177 just before they have an interchange with I-40 (Exit 18) in Lakeland. Huntsville, Alabama
Huntsville is a city in Madison County, Limestone County, and Morgan County, Alabama, United States. It is the county seat of Madison County. Located in the Appalachian region of northern Alabama, Huntsville is the most populous city in the state. Huntsville was founded within the Mississippi Territory in 1805 and became an incorporated town in 1811.
