Tenna (river)
The Tenna is a river in the Marche region of Italy. Its source is in the Sibillini Mountains in the province of Fermo near the border with the province of Macerata. It flows northeast through the mountains near Montefortino and Amandola before forming the border between the provinces of Fermo and Macerata. The river enters the province of Fermo near Servigliano and continues flowing northeast past Grottazzolina and Montegiorgio. Adriatic Sea
The Adriatic Sea () is a body of water separating the Italian Peninsula from the Balkan Peninsula. The Adriatic is the northernmost arm of the Mediterranean Sea, extending from the Strait of Otranto (where it connects to the Ionian Sea) to the northwest and the Po Valley. The countries with coasts on the Adriatic are Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Italy, Montenegro, and Slovenia. Porto Sant'Elpidio
Porto Sant'Elpidio () is a coastal town in the province of Fermo, Marche, Italy. The commune has a population of 25,071. Geography Porto Sant'Elpidio's nearly of coast once made the commune the most extensive in length in the province of Ascoli Piceno, but this is no longer true as it now belongs to the new province of Fermo. The commune is principally developed along the coast, following the two principal coastal roads: Statale 16 Road and the Adriatic Railway line. The city's territory is included between the Chienti (north) and the Tenna (south) rivers. Its administrative centre and provincial capital is the city of Fermo (population of 37,995 inhabitants). The province of Macerata ( it, provincia di Macerata) is a province in the Marche region of Italy. Its capital is the city of Macerata. The province includes 55 comunes (Italian: ''comuni'') in the province, see Comunes of the Province of Macerata. Located between the rivers Potenza (''Flosis'') and Chienti, both of which originate in the province, the city of Macerata is located on a hill.
