Tenchi Wo Kurau
is a Japanese manga series by Hiroshi Motomiya. The storyline is set in the Three Kingdoms period, when Western Shu, Northern Wei and Eastern Wu battled to conquer all of China. Plot Liu Bei is a descendant of Liu Sheng, prince Jing of Zhongshan of the Han Dynasty. Cao Cao is the adopted grandchild of Cao Teng, a eunuch in the palace. Sun Jian is the governor of Jiangdong. The three show their marvelous leading-role to divide China to three states: Shu, Wei and Wu. A significant difference is the use of fantasy elements; for example, many villains in the beginning are monsters as opposed to humans. Liu Bei meets a beautiful giant heavenly being in heaven, and she gives him the power to conquer the country. He meets and swears to be brothers with Guan Yu and Zhang Fei. Tenchi Wo Kurau II
is a role-playing video game released in Japan by Capcom for the Nintendo Entertainment System, Famicom in 1991. It is the sequel to ''Destiny of an Emperor'', originally based upon the manga ''Tenchi wo Kurau'' by Hiroshi Motomiya. Story The game starts when Liu Bei was taking refuge with Cao Cao due to Lü Bu's attack. After Cao Cao defeated Lü Bu, Yuan Shu declared himself emperor and Liu Bei was sent to defeat him. Gameplay As other traditional console role-playing games, the player controls a party and takes them to different locations following the story. The party enters battles either from random encounters or from Boss (video gaming), fixed boss battles and winning the battle will give experience points, money and items to the party. Hiroshi Motomiya (, born June 25, 1947) is a Japanese manga artist. He is from Chiba Prefecture. Moto Kikaku ''Moto Kikaku'' (formerly ''Motomiya Kikaku'') is a group of Japanese manga artists, founded by Hiroshi Motomiya. They're best known in the West for the ''Strider Hiryu'' manga (published by Kadokawa Shoten), which was developed as a tie-in to Capcom's video game hit '' Strider''. The group had input in '' Strider 2'''s character designs, and the original manga's plot was adapted as the plot of the NES version. However, ''Strider'' was not the only Moto Kikaku property to be adapted. Jiangnan or Jiang Nan (; formerly romanized Kiang-nan, literally "South of the River" meaning "South of the Yangtze") is a geographic area in China referring to lands immediately to the south of the lower reaches of the Yangtze River, including the southern part of its delta. ''Destiny of an Emperor'', known in Japan as , is a strategy role-playing game by Capcom for the Nintendo Entertainment System based on the '' Tenchi wo Kurau'' manga by Hiroshi Motomiya. It was originally released in Japan in 1989, with an English language localization released for the North American market in 1990. Story Liu Bei, Zhang Fei, and Guan Yu form a small militia to defend their village from Yellow Turban rebels, followers of the sorcerer Zhang Jiao. Liu Bei gathers peasants and farmers from nearby villages and camps, eventually defeating Zhang Jiao and his people. Tao Qian, the governor of Xu Province, falls ill and requests that Liu Bei assume his position. ''Warriors of Fate'', known in Japan as , is a side-scrolling beat-'em-up game produced by Capcom. It is the second arcade game based on the '' Tenchi wo Kurau'' manga, following ''Dynasty Wars''. ''Dynasty Wars,'' released in Japan as , is a 1989 side-scrolling beat-'em-up game released for arcades by Capcom, based on the Japanese manga ''Tenchi wo Kurau'' and a reenactment of the battle between the Kingdom of Shu and the Yellow Turban rebels. Zhang Fei () (died July or August 221 AD), courtesy name Yide, was a military general serving under the warlord Liu Bei in the late Eastern Han dynasty and early Three Kingdoms period of China. Zhang Fei and Guan Yu, who were among the earliest to join Liu Bei, shared a brotherly relationship with their lord and accompanied him on most of his early exploits. Guan Yu
Guan Yu (; ), courtesy name Yunchang, was a Chinese military general serving under the warlord Liu Bei during the late Eastern Han dynasty of China. Along with Zhang Fei, he shared a brotherly relationship with Liu Bei and accompanied him on most of his early exploits. Guan Yu played a significant role in the events leading up to the end of the Han dynasty and the establishment of Liu Bei's state of Shu Han during the Three Kingdoms period. Sun Jian
Sun Jian () () (155–191?), courtesy name Wentai, was a Chinese military general, politician, and warlord who lived during the late Eastern Han dynasty of China. He allied himself with Yuan Shu in 190 when warlords from eastern China formed a coalition to oust Dong Zhuo, a tyrannical warlord who held the puppet Emperor Xian in his power. Although he controlled neither many troops nor much land, Sun Jian's personal bravery and resourcefulness were feared by Dong Zhuo, who placed him among Yuan Shao, Yuan Shu and Liu Biao as the most influential men at that time.
